One of the most popular American cartoons is SpongeBob SquarePants. I honestly tried to watch several episodes, but I didn’t find anything there other than impenetrable stupidity. I categorically did not like the cartoon. However, the project has existed since 1999. I recently came across some very interesting material about how the main characters of the cartoon “SpongeBob” personify mortal sins. No more and no less! And now about this in more detail.

And if you didn’t have time to watch the first and second cartoons while you were galloping home from school, popping into the store for some goodies along the way, then you always had time to watch SpongeBob. Personally, I started to get crazy about the yellow sponge even before it became mainstream, that is, before those pedagogical-Emar times of 2007, but more on that a little later.

And although, if you think about it in all seriousness, this cartoon cannot be fully called children's, the character of SpongeBob is very optimistic, naive, kind, hardworking and has a lot of positive qualities, which creates a favorable image.

In the wake of Emar and Pedov hysteria, which occurred in the mid-2000s (yes, that same 2007 that cannot be returned!) the cartoon received new life, in particular, Sponge’s popularity skyrocketed.
