The main characters of almost all Soviet cartoons are extremely negative characters - slackers, deceivers, lazy people. They drink, rowdy, hooligan. None of them work or benefit society. Below the cut are just a few examples.

"Wait for it". The wolf drinks, smokes, hooligans. Judging by his reaction when he saw the police, he was clearly involved, and more than once. Does not work. All his free time, for some unknown reason, he pursues a completely respectable citizen - a hare. Although that one is also negative. The hare, like the wolf, is a slacker - he doesn’t work anywhere and doesn’t do anything useful for society. Tries to seem better than he really is. So pedantic and sterile that it’s disgusting.

"Winnie the Pooh". Comrade Zakhoder distorted Milne's fairy tale so much that the Soviet Winnie the Pooh bears no resemblance to the original prototype. It turned out pretty cute, but Vinny didn’t stop being negative (by the way, in the first translation into Russian the bear’s name was Mishka-Plyukh). He is arrogant and stupid. He sits around all day and, out of boredom, decides to rob the hive. His accomplice, Piglet, is also no angel - he kept weapons at home and did not fail to use them on occasion. In addition to everything else, Winnie the Pooh is also a rat - out of greed, he eats all the honey that he was going to give to a friend, but pretends that nothing happened and gives an empty container to an unsuspecting donkey.

"Baby and Carlson." The Swedish fairy tale has almost nothing in common with the Soviet cartoon. In the original, Carlson, like Winnie the Pooh, is a negative character who contains all human vices. We tried to make him a kind and positive hero. Did not work out. He is a homeless person who lives in the attic. He gained the trust of a neighbor boy and tricks him into stealing things from the house (it all started with a jar of jam, but where is the guarantee that gold will not follow?). Instead of finding a job, Carlson spends his days idle or misbehaves. He drags the Kid onto the roof and throws him there - the firemen have to remove the boy. The baby is good too. He is an unsociable nurse. He sits at home all day and sulks. He has no friends, his relatives also don’t like him and won’t take him anywhere. For his brothers and sisters, he is an object of ridicule, and his parents even put a price tag on him - a little more than one hundred thousand million. A little expensive, but as in the joke - we have already found out whether you are for sale or not, all that remains is to agree on the price. Freken Bock - an old hag was hired to look after the apartment and the Kid. It can't cope with either one or the other. Allows a stranger to enter the house, dances with him, and creates a mess together. She openly hates the kid, although she must be paid well.

"The Dog and the Wolf." The dog is old and can no longer fulfill his duties - to guard the house. The hut is being robbed. The owners, like all villagers, do not stand on ceremony with animals and kick out the useless dog. In the forest, he contacts a wolf, an extremely antisocial element, and incites him to help him return to the house. The dog succeeds in this by deception. They take him back and he begins to live even better than before. But now he doesn’t even try to guard the house. This is gratitude. On the wedding day of the owner's daughter, the dog lets a wolf into the house and steals food and booze from the table for him. He quickly gets drunk and starts howling. Everyone is in a panic, the holiday is ruined, the dog again deceives the owners, supposedly driving away the wolf. At the end he tells him to come back again. In return for kindness, the owners, instead of a guard, receive an enemy in the house, from whom they don’t know what to expect. The groom, by the way, is also good - a flayer, for the sake of entertainment he steps on the cat’s tail, so that he screams heart-rendingly.

"Kolobok" He left home from his loving, although not his own, parents. The old people might not have survived it.

"Prostokvashino". Uncle Fyodor - left home from his loving parents, illegally settled in an abandoned rural house with a mongrel and a stray cat. He doesn’t work, doesn’t study, what he does for a living is unclear. When, apparently, there is absolutely nothing left to eat, he sets off to look for the treasure. He hides what he found from the state - therefore, he violates the law. Postman Pechkin is, apparently, a stupid and empty worker. Or the state doesn’t value him. According to the story, Pechkin is not long until retirement, and in his entire life he has not been able to save up even for a bicycle. Low salary, not a prestigious job, no family, no friends. Due to dissatisfaction with material values, he often lashes out in public. For the sake of profit (a bicycle), he is ready to hand over his only friend. He behaves strangely - it is unclear why in the summer he wears a raincoat and a hat with earflaps. He is extremely dependent on TV - he absolutely refuses to celebrate the New Year without TV. It’s surprising that such a person didn’t drink himself to death in the village.

py.sy. Of course, this is banter and nothing more. =) I grew up watching Soviet cartoons and still enjoy watching some of them (for example, Treasure Island). By the way, Winnie the Pooh is my favorite character. Moreover, I took the nickname “Sanders” in his honor - this is the surname of a fairy-tale bear.

The genre of most people, regardless of age, gender and level of education. But it is also the most difficult for the creators, because its main connoisseurs are children who will not explain their preferences, but will choose only the best. At the same time, pleasing adult directors and screenwriters is also necessary if they want to create an animated film that will last not just one year, but decades. Such films were created by the Soviets, who undoubtedly possessed the secret of mastery in this craft, because their masterpieces are still remembered and loved. And those cartoons, apparently, will never become a thing of the past.

1. Perhaps, the first place in the popularity ranking rightfully belongs to the Wolf and the Hare from the beloved “Well, Just Wait,” directed by Alexey Kotenochkin. Characters - and enemies, at the same time. It is impossible to imagine them without each other, they have become so “merged” over many years of coexistence (the first episodes were released in 1969). And, despite the fact that the Wolf, according to the script, is a negative character, a violator of law, order, a scoundrel, his charm is so great that the viewer, empathizing with the positive, good-natured Hare, falls more in love with. And the musical accompaniment in the series is simply fabulous.
Music for Soviet cartoons was created by the country's best authors and almost always became a popular children's hit.

2. Another magnificent work of animation is “The Return of the Prodigal Parrot” and its main character is Kesha, a hero who completely symbolizes his time. The voice of Gennady Khazanov with its excellent parody capabilities suited the egocentric, capricious parrot who wants to live in better conditions than he already has. New episodes of the cartoon still appear periodically.
3. Cat Matroskin from the magnificent trilogy - “Three from Prostokvashino”, “Winter in Prostokvashino”, “Holidays in Prostokvashino” - a character who is not only loved, but also constantly quoted. Phrases from the cartoon sold out immediately after their appearance and are not forgotten to this day. Kind, thrifty and never discouraged, Matroskin will certainly linger in the hearts of his audience for a long time.
4. “A man in the prime of his life” named Carlson, who was given to the Kid as a friend from the masterpiece “The Kid and Carlson” instead of a dog, is familiar to every person. He is without a doubt one of my favorite characters.
5. Cheburashka is a sweet, carefree, naive hero from the cartoon “Crocodile Gena and Cheburashka”, created by the talented children's author E. Uspensky and transferred to the drawn world by Roman Kachanov. Both very young children and adults like it for many years. For most of us, the movie characters created in the USSR have remained beloved to this day, and we try to introduce our children to them, because, unlike many of the current “masterpieces,” they teach decency and culture, and also instill respect for adults.
The most famous Soviet studios are Soyuzmultfilm and Ekran. The most famous Soviet cartoons were the brainchild of these creative associations.

Remembering the amazing and original characters of the Soviet multi-industry - Kuzya the brownie, Winnie the Pooh, Leopold the cat, Hedgehog and Little Bear and others, I would like to note their charm and kindness, honesty and naivety, this is probably how heroes should be created so that they grow into decent people.
