An essay about

“My future profession is choreographer.”

Dance and music inspire the whole world, provide the soul with wings, promote the flight of imagination; they give life and cheerfulness to everything that exists.

Plato

My future profession is choreographer. I often hear the following phrase: “Why do you need these dances? This will be absolutely useless in the future. I will be the director of a company, I will have my own business, or I will be a military man, an economist, a lawyer, a politician.” “Be good,” I tell them, “and I will teach the children the basics of beautiful movement, grace in gait.” They don’t know how to dance now, because it’s not so easy, not like it was before the revolution, when children from the rich and noble families Russia was taught not only foreign languages, exact sciences, but also music, painting and dancing. Any self-respecting young man, much less a girl, could dance the most popular dances at that time ballroom dancing. Not only military bearing, but also choreography classes gave her better posture. And every item was important! In addition, only in choreography do all muscles develop harmoniously. There is no “right” or “left” side for a dancer. He is taught to use both equally freely. Anyone who seriously engages in dancing is recognized by their gait, and at a disco they are always the center of attention. There are plenty of advantages for those who dance.

I started dancing before school. My mother enrolled me in the Kaleidoscope choreography group. Now I consider myself a competent person in dancing, I see mistakes in the performances of other groups, I remember and note original finds: transitions, connections, lifts. And with what interest I watched the dancers’ performances at the All-Russian project “Big Dances”. I “rooted” for the team from Kazan, wished them victory, watched all their performances, and it was also interesting for me to look at the project participant Dilyara Gareeva from Kamskie Polyany. She also learned everything from Kaleidoscope classes. “Our artist,” as we sometimes call her, graduated from school a long time ago, but often, when she comes to visit her parents, she comes to our classes. We are waiting for her, because for us she is a role model, she will always share something new, some “choreographic secret”. She is an example of how you can achieve anything if you love what you do. According to our teacher, Nadezhda Alexandrovna, she was one of the hardest working students.

Of course, for me the most wonderful choreographer is my teacher Nadezhda Aleksandrovna Kochurova. She is a storehouse of new ideas, she herself comes up with dances for us, chooses music. Every year - new dance, or even two. My teacher is my ideal. But I must say that Nadezhda Alexandrovna is a strict leader. Very! But I think that in large team There must be iron discipline, because dancing is not only about beautiful movements, but also about our health and safety.

Choreography classes help us a lot in our school life, we easily come up with our own dances and perform them at school events, at class evenings, in front of parents and teachers. By the way, I very rarely get sick, I think that this choreography improves my health.

Choreography is dance. Dance is an expression of thought. If you want to dance, dance. Through the pain! Fatigue! And only with a smile on your face! If someone forces you, this is not your calling. Leave! Do not torture yourself.

Everything in the universe is rhythmic. Everything is dancing. I dance even when I go to school, imagining myself in the next turn of the “study” or “flyak”. This is cool! I don't try to dance better than everyone else. I try to dance better than myself. But to dance, you need patience, willpower, and a desire for something new. Only when you dance do you forget about all the difficulties and problems that surround you.

You try to do something, you don’t succeed, one more try, and now, finally, you can do this “grant batman” easily! "Hooray! I'm done! I did it!" - it’s sung in my soul, I’m pleased with myself, and all people seem nice and kind. I notice that I smile at everyone passing by, and they smile back at me.

It is useless to talk about the profession of a choreographer in words, for example: “etude”, “padebure”, “batman teldu”, “grant batman”, “flyak”, “force” - nothing is clear, but dance, the work of a choreographer, can be understood and appreciated everyone, viewers first.

And a concert or competition is a test, one might say, test. Whole year you are preparing with everyone for your main performance. And here you are behind the scenes! I want to quickly get on stage and dance.

Your exit is coming soon, and all you can think about is only one thing: “If only everything goes well!” The last chords... and the curtain closes. The minutes of waiting ahead are the most solemn, the most intense. The presenter calls your team. Pause. How long does it last! “First place is awarded to the choreographic ensemble “Kaleidoscope”,” he continues slowly. A burst of delight, indescribable pride for myself, for my friends, for our beloved leader Nadezhda Alexandrovna. Tears are flowing. At training - tears of pain, at a concert - tears of joy!

This time the test was passed. How many more will there be?! Well, let's get ready. And dance….dance! And in the future - to work as a choreographer.
