Yes, these changes give us certain opportunities to reach agreements with the Americans. We need to sit down at the negotiating table and agree to take into account the interests of the Russian Federation in the international arena. But at the same time, it is necessary to clearly understand that one of the main tasks of American policy is to inflame the Russian-Chinese conflict. Playing off two great neighbors will allow the Americans to maintain that same dominance on the planet.

Such terrorist structures arise where there is a need to create another source of tension. Syria is the most egregious example of American use of terrorist groups. But not the only one.
Notice with what amazing consistency terrorist attacks have been carried out around the world in recent years and how similar they are. Let’s say that in Europe over the last couple of years, when terrorists commit a crime, they always take documents with them. Moreover, they are all so kind that they forget their driver’s license under the seat of the truck, or their passport near the shot-up restaurant. Apparently, they help law enforcement agencies fight terrorism.
But in fact, not being able to find the true organizers of terrorist acts collaborating with American intelligence services, Europeans are forced to appoint terrorists. Then, when captured, these people are shot. This is exactly how investigations into all terrorist attacks have developed in recent years. The recent tragedy in Berlin was no exception.

Do you think that with the arrival of a new administration in the United States, could there be progress on the Minsk agreements next year?
I think that there can hardly be any big breakthroughs in the format of the Minsk agreements. For several years now we have been observing how not a single point of these agreements has been implemented, from the ceasefire to the exchange of prisoners. The latter is not a problem at all, in my opinion. Making lists and exchanging people is a matter of literally a few weeks, but almost two years have passed and nothing has been done.
Of course, the advent of the Trump administration and its new approach to achieving old American goals give some hope for changing the situation in Donbass. I think there will be long negotiations with the Americans, where much depends on the skill of Russian diplomacy and the understanding of what the United States will want in return for ending the military conflict in Donbass and supporting the illegal Ukrainian government. We saw that such a leak is possible from the panic that the authorities in Kyiv caused after the results of the American elections were announced, that is, they do not exclude such a possibility for themselves.
Well, the fact that these people came to power illegally has already been formalized legally: the Dorogomilovsky Court of Moscow recognized that what happened in Ukraine was a coup d’etat and a gross violation of the Ukrainian constitution.
- But Turchynov is still showing off and declares that in 2017 they will recapture the “occupied” territory. If the “bloody pastor” is not bluffing and the current government really has plans to unleash a full-scale war, then could 2017 be the year Russia recognizes the independence of Donbass?
This question is very complex and painful. Recognition of the independence of part of the Russian world should be primarily determined by the interests of the entire Russian world. In my opinion, all of Ukraine is an integral part of it.
Since we were talking about negotiations with the Americans, we would like their outcome to be an understanding by the new administration that Ukraine as a whole, and not in parts, should enter the Eurasian Union and be together with other parts of the Russian people. This is not a requirement of the immediate moment - it is a historical reality that has not changed in any way since the collapse of the Soviet Union.

In this case, we play by the financial rules of others and act as a fisherman who throws a net into the sea and, depending on the situation on world markets, pulls it out either empty or full, or finds something inedible in it.
If the United States needs to crush Russia, and at the same time other oil-producing states, it brings down oil prices.
Yes, this creates difficulties for the entire world economy, but we suffer greatly. Therefore, Russia needs to move to an economic form where all development drivers will be located within our borders. Sovereign emissions and sovereign economy - this is the only way to achieve sustainable growth.
Unfortunately, there is no transition from one type of economy to another today, which means that we will again be subject to attempts that are quite simple for the West to create real difficulties for us. If there is another deliberate collapse in the price of oil, we will again have difficulties.
- Maybe next year we can change something for the better? Could you please reassure our readers?
In this case, I do not share, even if cautiously, the optimism demonstrated by Elvira Nabiullina and her confidence that the economy has stabilized. This model has exhausted itself not only on Russian soil, but also in the whole world. This is evidenced by Brexit, the ongoing crisis, and the decline in incomes of Western consumers.

Strictly speaking, responsible politicians act not based on their own desires, but based on the needs of the people and the state. I won’t tell you any secret, saying that there are simply no politicians comparable to our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin in terms of experience, trust of the population and positive contribution to the development of the country.
From this understanding, it seems to me, it is necessary for responsible politicians to approach their desire or unwillingness to participate in the 2018 presidential elections. Surely, in order to hit Putin’s rating, Russia’s opponents will try to connect the economic mistakes made by the government with the president’s name. Attempts to create problems for his re-election, of course, will be made. It is up to the politician himself to ask whether this or that candidate will run for the presidential election. But my opinion is that the re-election of Vladimir Putin is a necessary condition for the progressive development of Russia.
