Coming home from work tired, he still always went to the back room and worked there until 12 at night, and at 4 in the morning he got up and went back to work. He never refused anything to his friends or fellow villagers - he always helped. It happened that there were fires in the village. The neighbors' houses would burn, but the blacksmith's house always remained unharmed.

During the election campaign in 1996, a blacksmith’s house was noticed in a branch of one of the parties. The deputies placed an image of this house on many of their party's booklets. Lidiya Kharitonovna showed journalists a certificate stating that the party will help the owners of the house and their descendants. As a token of gratitude, the owner of the extraordinary house gave the workers warm woolen socks knitted by herself.

This house was inherited by the Kirillov family from their parents. The house was already dilapidated, and Sergei Ivanovich began to repair it. And at the same time I decided to transform it. And I became so interested that I devoted almost my entire life to it. According to the master’s wife, Kirillov, having three classes of education, mastered all the skills on his own. Moreover, he grew up alone, without his father (he died at the front).

The numbers under the ridge of the house “1954” indicate the start date of work. The main work was completed in 1967 - on the 50th anniversary of the revolution. But Kirillov did not stop there and continued to create until the last. The house is amazing not only from the outside, but also from the inside. Even the oven there is special. Not to mention ceilings, walls, furniture and so on.

Unfortunately, in the fall of 2001 S.I. Kirillov died. At the entrance to the cemetery, near a large pine tree, there is a monument to him. The blacksmith forged it himself, during his lifetime, in a similar style to the house. The monument looks like a large flower garden with bright colors made of metal.

Everyone who knew him says that he was amazing, kind and bright man. The same as his home, into which he poured his whole soul. They say that when Kirillov came home from work, he immediately went to the workshop to make decorations for the home. He was also a good accordion player, without whom not a single wedding would be complete.

Now Kirillov’s widow, Lydia Kharitonovna, lives in the house.

After Kirillov's death, the house gradually began to deteriorate. One of the figures completely broke and fell. Evgeniy Roizman came to the rescue. The house has been restored. And recently, Evgeny Roizman and Yulia Kruteeva also published the book “House in Kunar. Flowers and doves of the blacksmith Kirillov."

They repeatedly tried to buy the miracle house for a lot of money, but first Sergei Ivanovich himself, and then Lydia Kharitonovna, refused to sell this work of art. I would like to hope that the house will be preserved in the future, and then, perhaps, will turn into a museum.

It is convenient to get here only by car. Public transport goes to Kunara only from Nevyansk and infrequently.
