This year, the awards concert was held in an unusual 360-degree format, with the audience seated around the stage. Broadcasting in such conditions is not an easy task, especially for the presenters, but there were so many people who wanted to attend the event that the usual area of the Olimpiysky simply could not accommodate everyone. As a rule, the sports complex is only half opened and spectators at concerts are located in one part of it, but this time everything was different.

The first to take the prize plate of the MUZ-TV 2017 award was Sergei Lazarev, who won in the Best Song nomination with a hit called You Are The Only One.

Another surprise was the nomination “Best Song of the 15th Anniversary,” which was included in the list in honor of the anniversary of the MUZ-TV 2017 award. The coveted prize was given to Sergei Zhukov for the composition “My Little One,” the words from which were chanted at that moment by the band’s fans, the audience who came to support completely different artists, and celebrities.

This award ceremony can be called truly unpredictable. So, probably, the biggest surprise of the evening was that the plate in the “Breakthrough of the Year” nomination did not go to Olga Buzova. Millions of Russians, like herself, believed in the TV presenter’s victory. Perhaps that is why the performer could not stand it and burst into tears.

Fortunately, unlike last year, when Philip refused to even be nominated for an award, saying that he had already received everything he could, this year he was more supportive and allowed himself to be given a special prize for the 50th anniversary and a “plate” for the best show . Kirkorov’s sworn enemy, and for some time now almost a friend, Timati, was invited to present the award on stage. Let us remember that several years ago it was Timati who made a scandalous statement about the fact that all music awards in the country go to the same people. This marked the beginning of enmity between him and the king of pop; for a long time the artists did not even demonstratively greet each other at events, but now the hatchet has been buried. Although, while giving a speech, Timati, who was among the losers of the award for best show, did not miss the opportunity to remind those gathered that it was he, the only one of the nominees, who collected the full “Olympic” at his concerts.

One of the most spectacular performances on the red carpet was the appearance of the nominee in the Breakthrough of the Year category, Olga Buzova. The aspiring singer was carried out by six half-naked men in a huge shell, from which Olga appeared in the image of the goddess of love - Aphrodite. There were some incidents. During Ani Lorak's appearance, a fan of the singer ran onto the path and began kissing her in front of everyone. Fortunately, Anya’s husband was not at a loss and rebuffed the annoying fan. After the star track, all the artists and guests of the Olimpiysky gathered in the hall, the stage of which, for the first time in the history of the MUZ-TV Awards, was in 360 degree format. This year's show program consisted exclusively of duets.

For more than 30,000 spectators at the Olimpiysky and millions of spectators at the screens, their hits were performed by: Mot and Ani Lorak, Egor Creed and Molly, Nagriz and Maxim Fadeev, “Degrees” and Polina Gagarina, Timati and Philip Kirkorov, A'Studio and Emin, Loboda and Max Barskikh. The performance of the last duet became one of the brightest moments of the ceremony. While performing a mix of the songs “Your Eyes” and “Mists,” Max became so carried away that he passionately kissed Svetlana on the lips right in front of the entire “Olympic”.

There were also foreign guests - the Italian singer Andrea Bochelli specially flew to Russia for the MUZ-TV Prize, to perform the legendary composition “Time to say goodbye” together with Zara, and also to present a completely new joint work “La grande storia”. Fantastic scenery, unique special effects and, of course, the magnificent voices of the artists made the entire audience give a standing ovation in admiration. This year the MUZ-TV Prize celebrates its 15th anniversary. In honor of this event, the organizers of the award decided to change a lot. So, this time the stage was designed in a 360-degree format, and the show program consisted exclusively of duets. By the way, this year, unlike previous years, no foreign performers were invited to the Prize.

According to tradition, the event began with a red carpet. For two hours, celebrity guests arrived at the ceremony one after another. Buzova was among the first to appear before the public. Olga would not be Olga if she had not made a real show out of her appearance.

The presenter of “House-2” and the Award nominee arrived in a pearl shell, carried by six pumped-up men with bare torsos. Buzova tried on the image of a mermaid, in which she again, albeit briefly, became a blonde!

Nastya Kudri had an equally striking appearance on the carpet - the singer arrived on the carpet accompanied by at least a dozen scantily clad handsome men! Throughout these two hours, the presenters - Ksenia Sobchak and Maxim Galkin, Lera Kudryavtseva and Dmitry Nagiyev - met the guests, asked them uncomfortable questions and competed with each other in wit.

Irina Dubtsova and Ksenia Borodina immediately rushed to console the aspiring singer. After the winner in this category, Jah Khalib, rose to the plate, Maxim Galkin approached Olga to find out how she felt.

Buzova assured everyone present that she “didn’t say everything to Russian show business, and her main victories are still ahead.” Next, the TV presenter thanked her fans, as well as family and friends, and again could not contain the surging emotions.

Despite the fact that Olga never received the coveted plate and did not perform on stage, she remained in the spotlight. Almost every dialogue, speech, announcement of a nomination - Buzova’s name was heard everywhere and always.

The presentation of the award in the category “Best Song of the 15th Anniversary” can be considered a kind of culmination of the Award. Even before the presenters declared the group “Hands Up” and their immortal hit “My Baby” the winner, the audience was already chanting the name of the group at the top of their lungs. When the expectations of the majority were justified, the stands literally exploded with enthusiastic screams and applause. In an instant, thousands of people rose from their seats and loudly sang the words of the song. In his speech, Sergei Zhukov thanked all the fans and noted that he dedicated this award to his beloved wife Regina.

A few hours ago, the 15th annual national television award in the field of popular music “MUZ-TV 2017” ended at the Olimpiysky Sports Complex. Many Russian celebrities came to congratulate the channel on its anniversary, who became participants and witnesses of the grandiose show.

The passage of celebrities along the green began at 17:00 Moscow time, where they were met by the permanent presenters of the MUZ-TV awards - Dmitry Nagiyev, Lera Kudryavtseva, and Maxim Galkin. Polina Gagarina and her husband Dmitry Iskhakov were the first to meet the hosts of the evening, and all the other stars of Russian show business followed them, to the loud applause of their fans. Immediately after the walkway, the awards guests went into the foyer, where they were able to talk to the press and discuss this year’s nominees. The stars were unable to linger long before entering the concert hall, as the organizers asked everyone to quickly take their seats and prepare for the start of the action.

The MUZ-TV award started with a mix of Russian hits over the past 15 years performed by the group Frukta and dances from Alla Dukhova’s show ballet Todes. A quartet of presenters also appeared on stage during the musical medley. Ksenia Sobchak, of course, distinguished herself by choosing an unusual way to go on stage: the celebrity fluttered over the stage on ropes in the image of a “dragonfly of love,” as Ksenia herself later called herself. By the way, the day before the ceremony, rumors began to circulate online that for the sake of this “deadly number” Sobchak had insured herself for a large sum.

One of the most memorable moments of the event was the performance of the duet - the group A"Studio and Emin Agalarov. The artists performed the composition "If you are near" in glass cubes moving thanks to cables.

Timati, nominated in six categories at once, also did not go without an award: the rapper received only one award, but what one - “Best Performer”.
