Allah Almighty is the only God worthy of true worship and service. It exists forever, without beginning or end. He is not subject to time, and time does not change for Him. And there is no one and nothing that is even a little like Him. He is Alive, All-Knowing, All-Seeing, All-Hearing and Almighty.

The Great Creator approves of good things, but condemns all bad things. He created all things and rules over them. Only by His will can the world disappear. He is the Lord of the Day of Judgment and the Lord of all things. Equating anyone with Allah is the gravest (shirk).

The Almighty showed great Grace to man, granting him Blessing and Reason and exalting him above other living creatures. The benefit for the human mind is to gain knowledge about Allah and His commands. He (the Almighty) helps to comprehend the truth of all things, leads to reverence and obedience to Him and commands us to relentlessly follow the path of Knowledge about Him.

The true perfection of the Almighty cannot be realized by any living person except Allah Himself. Even (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them) the Angels are not given the opportunity to know the true greatness of the Creator. However, some excellent qualities of the Creator can still be approximately described on the basis of what Allah Himself communicated about Himself through the prophets. This allows us to speak of His existence and absolute perfection.

The Most Beautiful Names of God:

“Allah has the most beautiful names. Therefore call upon Him through them and leave those who deny His names" (Quran, 7:180).

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Verily, the Almighty has ninety-nine names. Anyone who remembers them will go to heaven."

The name “Allah” is considered the highest, indicating His divine essence, and therefore is not included in this list. “Allah” consists of two parts Al-Ilah: the word “ilah” means “deity, the one who is worshiped”, the definite article “al” indicates the uniqueness of the Creator.

If the names of the Almighty come from derived verbs, then this means that He possesses these qualities, and laws and consequences follow from these names. For example, established penalties are not applied to robbers who repent of their crimes. The Holy Scripture says that the Creator shows compassion to those who repent, because Allah is Merciful, Merciful and Forgiving. All names correspond to the qualities of Allah through which He acts in the world He created.

The following names of the Creator are mentioned in the Qur'an: Ar-Rabb (the Lord), Ar-Rahim (the Merciful), Ar-Rahman (the Merciful), Al-Ahad (the One), Al-Hayy (the Living) and others.

Allahu Akbar - Allah the Greatest

Takbir or Allahu Akbar (in Arabic Allahu Akbar) is an Arabic inscription and expression that means “Allah is the Greatest.”

It is a sign of joy and exclamation, it is a battle cry used by the warriors of Islam. When an important speech comes to an end, as a sign of approval, one of the audience exclaims: takbir! The rest respond in unison: Allahu Akbar!

How often do we hear loud slogans from the lips of Muslims: “Allahu Akbar!” What does this phrase mean, what does it carry within itself, a threat or a benefit, a call to good or evil? Let's try to figure it out.

“Allahu Akbar”: translation from Arabic and the meaning of the phrase

“Allahu Akbar”, which means “Allah is Great” (translated from Arabic) is a recognition of the greatness of the only creator of all things, the merciful Lord of all people, one of whose names is Allah.

“Allah Akbar” in Arabic means the great Lord, whose power and might are above all else.

This phrase reflects from the very first moments of his appearance on Earth. The Prophet who brought the religion of Islam to people - Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), from the very beginning fought for the main goal - to tell people about the unity of God, about the Creator, who alone embraces all the strength and power of the surrounding nature. About the futility of prayer to idols and cult monuments, about the misconception regarding the division of God into parts responsible for various benefits - fertility, wealth, family or power.

God is One, and He is so Great that absolutely all occurring phenomena and events, processes and patterns of the world, the universe, galaxies and spiritual matters are subject only to Him alone, His Power of Government and Greatness.

Why do Muslims love to say the phrase “Allahu Akbar”? What does she mean to them?

This is one of the formulas for recognizing the Greatness of the Lord, one of the phrases reflecting true obedience to the Almighty, an oath of denial of other powers and dominations.

Every Muslim baby practically absorbs and understands with mother’s milk what “Allah Akbar” means. This sacred phrase for Muslims sounds on their lips throughout their lives and accompanies all their deeds.

This phrase is the first to ring in the ears of a newborn baby, just emerging from the mother’s womb, when the father whispers the azan into his ear, and with this phrase a deceased Muslim ends his worldly journey when a funeral prayer is read over his deceased body.

With the words “Allahu Akbar” (which means “Allah is Great”), Muslims begin prayer, call each other to the mosque, begin all their good deeds, perform sacrifices and give gifts in the name of God to the poor and needy.

With the click “Allahu Akbar!” Since the beginning of Islamic history, Muslims have rushed into battle to liberate their rights and protect their families, saying that they are not afraid of any enemy, because all the Power and Greatness belongs to Allah alone.

With this phrase, Muslims rejoice and are sad, receive good and bad news, wake up and fall asleep, get married and give birth to children, thereby each time confirming and recognizing that the Only Creator of all things is Allah, who has unsurpassed and incomparable Greatness.

In this formula of the Power and strength of the Lord of the Worlds there is no call for violence or anger, harm or damage. These words contain only the morality of any person who sincerely believes in one God, who denies idols and does not recognize blasphemy, believes in the great dominion of the Creator and calls others to this.

Muslims teach this phrase to their children, teaching them to monotheism from the cradle.

AKBAR

(1542-1605), better known as Akbar the Great, was the third emperor of the Mughal dynasty that ruled the Hindustan Peninsula. Born in 1542 in Sindh (now a province of Pakistan), where he spent the first 12 years of his life. In 1555, his father Emperor Humayun, dethroned by a usurper, re-established himself in Delhi, which became the center of a literary and artistic revival. In 1556, Humayun died and Akbar became emperor at the age of 14. Four years later, he expelled his regent Bairam Khan and set about restoring his inherited empire, including Rajputana, Gujarat, Bengal and Kashmir. The bulk of his long reign was devoted to subduing the recalcitrant rulers of North India and establishing lasting peace in the country. Akbar brought order to the collection of taxes and taxes and, like his grandfather Emperor Babur, promoted the development of trade.

Akbar showed a keen interest in all religions, including Christianity, which Father Claudio Acquaviva and other Jesuits taught him about. From 1582, he tried to establish a new mystical faith in the country, which he called “din-i-ilahi” (“divine faith”). Akbar supported the opening of both Muslim and Hindu schools and patronized artists and writers. Built a new capital, Fatihpur Sikri. The last years of his life were overshadowed by court intrigues and the conspiratorial activities of his son, Prince Selim. Akbar died in 1605, the throne was inherited by Selim under the name of Emperor Jahangir.
