Let's draw a hedgehog. How to draw a hedgehog with a pencil step by step Large drawing of a hedgehog

The hedgehog is a cute, funny animal. Slow, prickly and clumsy. Both children and adults love him. Hedgehogs belong to a special family of insectivorous mammals. These animals live alone and in pairs. The hedgehog is a small animal. The length of its oval body is about 30 cm. Hedgehogs are predominantly nocturnal. During the day they sleep in nests that they make in bushes, holes or tree roots. At the slightest danger, the hedgehog curls up into a ball with protruding prickly needles. He sleeps in the same position. Children often ask about how to draw a hedgehog. Knowing certain techniques, this is not difficult to do.

Let's prepare a sheet of paper, a sharp pencil and an eraser. Using short descriptions, we learn this step by step.

1. First we make the first contours of the hedgehog’s body and head. The larger oval is the body, and the smaller oval is the head. The lines should be light so that the drawing can be adjusted if necessary.

2. The second stage is the most important, since you need to draw the hedgehog in such a way that from two ovals you get a muzzle with a sharp nose and four legs. We outline the location of the eye.

3. Now we connect two ovals, outlining them with a smooth outline. We draw ears. They should be from different angles. Shade the tip of the nose and eyes. Leave a white highlight in the middle of the eye. This gives life to the image.

4. The hedgehog became like himself. We remove all unnecessary strokes, leaving only the necessary contours. We mark the boundary between the lower part of the body - the abdomen - and the upper part, covered with needles.

5. How to draw a hedgehog without its spines looking like those of a porcupine? To do this, we make them not long, but in a herringbone pattern, as in the picture. Don't forget about the border of the lower body. We leave it unshaded. One more point: the porcupine’s spines stick out vertically. In a hedgehog they are located at a slight angle.

6. By following the given instructions, you will understand how to draw a hedgehog with a pencil. We used a simple graphite pencil. At the final stage, the drawing can be colored with colored pencils, gouache or watercolors. Or you can leave the black and white version. Before coloring, you need to determine the colors you will work with: white belly, brown muzzle, gray needles. Make sure that the paint does not extend beyond the outline of the drawing, otherwise it will be blurry and unclear.

Hedgehogs are often depicted in pictures in children's books. They are the main characters in cartoons and children's stories. How to draw a hedgehog in such a way as to make it a bright hero of the plot, and children of primary school or kindergarten could compose a story based on this picture? To do this, you can depict the animal on

Master class on drawing for children 4-5 years old "Hedgehog"

Target: performing a drawing using an unconventional drawing technique - painting with a hard semi-dry brush using the “poke” method.
Tasks:- introduce children to non-traditional drawing techniques;
- develop children's creative abilities;
- teach accuracy when working with gouache.
Purpose: This master class will be useful to kindergarten teachers working with children of middle and senior preschool age, as well as to all creative people interested in drawing.
Materials: paper, brushes No. 3 and No. 5 - squirrel, brush No. 5 bristles, fabric napkin, water in a glass.
Progress of the lesson:
Educator:"We cannot live in the world without miracles,
They meet us everywhere.
Magic, autumn and fairytale forest
He invites us to visit him.
The wind will spin to the song of the rain,
He will throw leaves at our feet.
It's such a beautiful time:
Miracle Autumn has come to us again."

Guys, what wonderful lines M. Sidorova wrote... Autumn is truly a wonderful time, but unfortunately not everyone has time to admire its beauty. For example, animals have no time to enjoy the beauty of autumn; they simply need to stock up on food. The squirrel sews mushrooms and collects nuts,

And the hedgehog?
Listen to Tatyana Kazyrina's poem:
"HEDGEHOG IS A GRUMBLE.
Autumn has played out
Whirling in the wind,
Covered with leaves
Gray hedgehog.
The hedgehog is unhappy
Snorts and grumbles:
-The mushroom hid
Silent under the leaves!
How to find a path?
How to find fungus?
Leaves stick
On the prickly side!"
Educator: Guys, what does the Hedgehog eat?
Children's answers.
Educator: That's right, guys. Hedgehogs also eat apples.

They prepare them in their burrows and collect them under apple trees.

And mushrooms.

The hedgehog's prickly coat helps to collect mushrooms and transfer them to the hole.

Look what a beautiful hedgehog the artist painted:

So I suggest you draw a hedgehog with an apple.
We will do this with gouache and a hard brush. To get started, we need to get acquainted with an interesting drawing method - the “poke” method with a hard semi-dry brush.
Place a piece of paper in front of you, place a glass of water, and prepare a cloth napkin. Your main weapon is a hard bristle brush No. 5. Dip the brush into the gouache and make the first “poke”, placing the brush vertically to the sheet. Give it a few pokes. Now let’s change the color, rinse the brush, and dry it dry with a cloth. Let's put paint on the brush again and continue painting using the "poke" method. Have you tried it? Now you can start drawing a hedgehog.
1. For work we will need the following materials: a fabric napkin, a glass of water, gouache, a bristle brush No. 5, soft brushes No. 2, No. 5, a sheet of paper.

2. Tint a sheet of paper: wet a sheet of paper with a soft brush, then apply paint, trying to distribute it evenly. Let it dry and the background is ready.
3. Let's start drawing a hedgehog. Place the sheet horizontally. We will paint using the “poke” technique with a hard, semi-dry brush. You are already familiar with it and have even tried it, and now let’s draw, or rather “poke”! We use black and white gouache. First, dip the brush in white gouache, and then in black. This is done so that the color is applied to the sheet not in an even color, but in small spots, this will create a more vivid effect of needles on the hedgehog’s back. First, let's draw an outline.

Now let's fill the outline. “Poke”, “poke”, “poke”!

4. Now with a soft thin brush, with the very tip of it, draw the muzzle, just the outline.

We fill it with color, small stripes, and begin to draw a line from the nose to the head.

5. Now let’s draw the nose, legs and tail.

6. In order to draw the hedgehog’s eye, use a thin brush to draw a small white circle, let it dry and use black gouache to draw a small circle in the middle of the white one. Now our hedgehog is looking at us!

7. Draw an apple. We need red gouache. Draw a small circle on the back of the hedgehog. We also draw using the “poke” method.

8. Now let’s draw a leaf with green gouache and a twig with black gouache.

The hedgehog is ready!

Look at the hedgehogs the children drew:
Egor got the biggest apple

Nastya has this hedgehog

And Katyusha drew the hedgehog entirely herself

These are our hedgehogs!

Which hedgehog did you like the most?
I suggest you draw your own hedgehog! Try it! Your hedgehog will be completely different from any other! Go for it.

Take a sheet of paper or album, a pencil and an eraser. Ask your child what he will use to decorate the hedgehog and prepare pencils, markers or paints with a brush.

Tell your child the rules of how to work with paints.

  1. Prepare and moisten the paints with clean water;
  2. mix paints on a palette (white paper), not forgetting to wash your brushes;
  3. evenly cover the surface of the background and characters in the composition;
  4. at the end of the work, wash the brush, do not leave it in a jar of water, but wipe it with a cloth;
  5. After finishing the paint, put the pencil in boxes or in a pencil case.

Explain to your child that you need to start drawing a hedgehog from the body, then the face, legs and needles. Once you have finished drawing, start coloring. Show your child how to paint a hedgehog correctly - the strokes or paint should not go beyond the outline of the image, otherwise the drawing will not be neat.

If your child cannot immediately draw a hedgehog, do not try to force him, but suggest another way. Using tracing paper, you can trace a finished printed or drawn drawing of a hedgehog, and then decorate it.

End the lesson the moment your child loses interest. Whatever your child draws, be sure to praise him and hang the resulting masterpiece on the wall so that the child feels like a real artist.

Send us a photo of the resulting drawing by e-mail. Please indicate I.F. child, age, city, country where you live and your baby will become a little famous! We wish you success!

I really liked the cool hedgehog and I tried to draw a soapy one like this and add cotton wool to these needles that I drew, it’s cool, just try so that the needles are not visible, cool

Hedgehogs are the cutest creatures and heroes of numerous fairy tales and cartoons. Everyone knows that they are affectionate, very smart and quick-witted animals. Moreover, they are unique animals that have thorns instead of wool. Apart from hedgehogs, only echidnas and porcupines can boast of this. Most often, a cute hedgehog with intelligent beady eyes is depicted stocking up for the winter, with fruits and mushrooms on his back. However, in fact, hedgehogs are predators and feed on insects and small rodents. Another unique feature that these cute animals have is that they are absolutely not susceptible to poisons and even a viper bite is not scary for them. How to draw a hedgehog? Let's look at it in detail. It won’t be too difficult, so even someone who doesn’t know how to draw can draw a hedgehog step by step. You can use school watercolors, colored pencils, and felt-tip pens.

  1. Since we will be doing this drawing in watercolor, we will need special, thick paper. It absorbs water well and produces wonderful smooth color transitions. For felt-tip pens, on the contrary, it is better to take paper with a smooth surface. You will need a hard sketch pencil and a soft eraser. First, draw the outline of the hedgehog’s body and the apple on its back. The body will look like an oblong drop, the apple will look like a circle.

  2. Let’s add a sharp muzzle to our animal with a raised nose and paws. Moreover, the front paws will be shaped like the Russian letter “G”, and the hind paws will have one more bone added. It will not be visible at the far paw, since it is covered by the hedgehog’s abdomen.

  3. Draw a face and an apple. The eye is round and small, the ear is also almost round. Let's finish drawing the button nose and mouth. Let's draw the apple at a slight angle to make it look more natural.

  4. We designate a color border on the muzzle - from the nose to the upper eyelid. We draw the hedgehog's paws, they have small fingers. Now the thorns. They can be depicted with a sharp zigzag or abrupt lines. The main thing is that they are not in the same direction. The hedgehog’s body is round and plump, so the spines will “look” in different directions. At the top we draw a zigzag, in the middle the spines begin to bend at an angle and on the abdomen they almost look down. We depict them with short strokes.

  5. Let's start painting with watercolors. The hedgehog's body will be ocher and warm, so we take light ocher, a little orange and yellow. The top of the muzzle will be darker, and closer to the belly we add more water to create a smooth gradient. We draw the paws with exactly the same color. The inside of the hedgehog's ear will be half dark, and the border will be white. We paint an apple with red, green and yellow watercolors. It is also voluminous, don’t forget about that, so leave a small area of paper unpainted - it will be a highlight. Make one side of the apple a richer red color. Paint the “spiky” area with short strokes using a wide brush. Alternate between painting with a dry brush and a wet one. It is better to take shades of brown, gray and dark orange. Don't be afraid to mix them, let there be multi-colored stains on the paper. We leave some clean areas, and make some darker (the hedgehog’s head, back and tummy).

  6. We draw a green leaf of an apple and begin to work on the details of the drawing. Using a thin brush and almost black paint (or very dark brown) we make needles. On the top of the hedgehog they will be the darkest and thickest, slightly “overhanging” the muzzle. Using short strokes we draw spines all over the body. They don't have to be even. There will be more of them on the back, and very few on the abdomen. There are no spines on the paws, but outline the toes with light lines. We make the muzzle more expressive and contrasting. To do this, we draw our hedgehog a large black, shiny nose and the same eyes. To show highlights, leave tiny areas of the paper blank. If you accidentally sketched it, it's okay. Highlights can be added with white acrylic or gouache, simply by placing small dots. We make a mustache for the hedgehog and outline the ear.

How to draw a hedgehog: options for beginners, for drawing with children.

From the article you will learn how to draw a hedgehog. Here you will find step-by-step descriptions of drawings in pencil and watercolors. We will also look at ways to draw a hedgehog from Smeshariki, a hedgehog in the style of nature and with mushrooms.

How to draw a hedgehog step by step with a pencil for children and beginners: instructions

One of my favorite themes for drawing is the drawing of a hedgehog. Children try to draw a hedgehog that is funny and unusual, but without the help of adults, the drawing turns out to be quite primitive and does not bring the child satisfaction from his own creativity. We invite you to spend your time usefully and teach your child how to beautifully depict a thorny forest inhabitant, and at the same time show that drawing is not at all difficult.

  • Some people keep hedgehogs at home. After all, these animals become so accustomed to humans that they can easily replace our more familiar pets – a cat or a small dog.
  • The hedgehog can be seen in cartoons. One of them is “Smeshariki”. In this cartoon, the hedgehog is a romantic and very well-mannered character. The second cartoon about a hedgehog that took first place in the international competition of children's animated films is “Hedgehog in the Fog.” We will also try to draw this character.
  • A popular design is a picture of a hedgehog that has pinned its simple food reserves – mushrooms, berries, fruits – on needles.
  • To prevent the hedgehog from turning into a bald rat as a result of endless corrections, you should be careful and accurately transfer the lines onto a sheet of paper. Do not forget that all strokes must be applied without pressing the pencil, so that later you can get rid of the auxiliary lines and not leave marks on the paper.

We draw a hedgehog with a simple pencil step by step:

  • Straight lines denote the boundaries of our picture. They are necessary so that during the drawing process we do not “drive” beyond the contours of the sheet. We outline the initial contours of the drawing: these are two ovals.
  • One of them is large and located horizontally - the body of the hedgehog, the second is small, located vertically - the head. We draw ovals randomly. Don’t be afraid that the lines will turn out crooked; we will hide them with needles or remove them altogether.
  • We draw the face and paws of the hedgehog. This is a very important part of the drawing, so we try to ensure that the muzzle matches the original as much as possible. Draw the eyes, nose and four limbs. At this stage, you can show your child how quickly and easily an animal can be made from an oval.
  • Draw the body and ears of the hedgehog. Pay attention to how the paws are drawn - each limb resembles two branches of different lengths curved in the same direction.
  • We turn the contour lines of the hedgehog into the general contour of the body. This is not at all difficult to do: we just continue the lines - we outline a large oval, connecting them into one contour.
  • Use an eraser to remove the auxiliary lines on the muzzle and draw the ears. Apply shading in the area of the nose and eyes. For greater consistency, we leave a small white dot in the middle of the pupil - a highlight.
We work on the drawing in more detail, focusing on the original: we draw three toes on the paws, outline the top line of the abdomen, and finish drawing the mustache.
  • We draw needles: to prevent the hedgehog from becoming a porcupine, we draw the needles in a “herringbone” pattern, not “sticks”. We tilt them to the right, as if slightly “smoothing” them.
  • We erase all additional contour lines. This must be done carefully so as not to inadvertently remove the necessary contours. We draw the missing “little things”. All we have to do is give volume to the hedgehog with the help of shadows and finish drawing the surrounding landscape: grass or foliage, a stump, a few mushrooms.

How to draw a Hedgehog from Smeshariki with a pencil step by step?

  • To draw a hedgehog from Smeshariki, first of all you need to draw a circle. This will be the body of the hedgehog. Inside the circle we draw an inclined letter “A”. The resulting lines will help us correctly position the arms and legs, and will also simplify the process of drawing the face.
  • We chose not the easiest option for depicting the hedgehog from Smeshariki. Our character will be drawn in motion with one raised paw. Therefore, first we will pay attention to drawing the contours of the hands and designating the eyes. After this, you can draw the lower sole of the right paw, and then draw the highly raised sole of the left paw.

Outlining the initial contour of the Hedgehog
  • We draw the contours of the few hedgehog needles in the form of a herringbone. It’s better to start with the top needle, drawing a cone that widens downward.
  • We finish drawing the eyes, nose (it’s enough to indicate it with a small triangle), and ear. Draw lines based on the picture below. To draw the hedgehog's eyebrows, we use a small triangle to mark a small area immediately below the line of needles.
  • We clarify the contours of the hedgehog’s legs and arms. It is not at all necessary to follow the exact shapes, however, when drawing the sole of the left foot, you should focus on the original. At this stage, you can get rid of the auxiliary lines and start drawing the nose and mouth of our character. Just look at the drawing and follow all the lines.
  • When you try to draw Smesharik entirely at once, you may encounter some difficulties, which will result in errors. We suggest drawing in stages. This method helps to transfer the image onto paper more accurately and better.
  • Let's move on to the most interesting moment - the design. We draw glasses in the form of two circles. Draw the leg from the glasses to one of the circles. Draw the pupils and highlights. We draw the hedgehog's eyebrows in the form of two short, wide strokes. Now let's pay attention to the face and start decorating.
  • You can simply apply pencil shading to the drawing and indicate areas that are in shadow. But you can make the drawing colored by using pencils, markers or paints at the final stage. To get a warmer and more cheerful character, it is better to use light shades. This way you can convey the character of the Hedgehog. Next to the Hedgehog you can draw his friends.

How to draw a standing hedgehog with a pencil step by step?

Let's try to depict a hedgehog in the classic manner: standing on all its legs with its nose extended forward. You don't have to be a real artist to draw, but having minimal drawing skills is welcome.

Let's draw a hedgehog in the style of "nature":

  • We make markings on a sheet of paper.

Drawing the basic mesh
  • We draw two ovals: a large one will be the body, and a small one will be the head. The outline of the small circle overlaps the outline of the large one). We outline four paws at once with curved lines.

Draw two ovals
  • Now we refine the contour, connecting the head to the body. We complete the line of needle growth. We draw the eyes and draw another line on the paws. Now we draw along the contour of the needles, outlining the needles with sparse shading. Draw the fingers, add ears and nose.

We trace the outline
  • We work on the back of the hedgehog, adding dashes and needles. We make the muzzle and abdomen fluffy, marking hairs in some areas.
  • Draw shadows with dashed lines. We finish drawing the line of the ground on which the hedgehog stands. You can finish drawing the foliage.

We outline the face of the hedgehog and draw one more line on the paws

We sketch the paws, draw the eyes and nose, draw a line of needles

Add missing details and remove auxiliary lines

Drawing of a hedgehog with a simple pencil - realistic

  • We will draw a hedgehog with a simple pencil in accordance with a certain sequence of execution.
  • To obtain a harmonious and proportional picture, you should apply conventional markings on a sheet of paper before starting to draw. This could be a regular frame, inside which we will draw a hedgehog. After this, we prepare a sketch - we first outline the contours of the animal.

Outlining the general contour of the hedgehog
  • Let's start drawing the hedgehog's face: use light dashed lines to outline the upper border of the needles and muzzle, draw the eyes, nose and fill in with dashed lines. At this stage, our hedgehog looks more like a wild boar. But we will continue, and you will see that you can create a beautiful hedgehog drawing in just 15-20 minutes.

  • Let's draw the needles on the back of the hedgehog: first of all, we draw sharp tails of needles in the form of a herringbone along the back of the hedgehog, and then evenly fill them with needles under the outline to give thickness. We draw a few dashed lines on the upper “spiny” part of the hedgehog’s body.

  • Fill in the hedgehog's abdomen with dashed lines. Our task is to show the short thick hairs of the hedgehog with strokes. We fill the lower part of the abdomen with thicker shading - this area is in the shade. Leave the top hairs light.

  • We draw the remaining areas in more detail: we work on the fur on the muzzle, draw the nose and eyes.
  • We cover the area under the neck with denser shading. We draw ears.
  • Focusing on the original drawing, we fill in the missing details: paws with claws, mustaches. The drawing is ready.
