School Oracle Predictions

Blitz survey

Teacher's Day - this is a holiday of people dear to you, to whom you are attached and even fell in love.

Teacher – a word that everyone associates with their very first teacher. But a teacher is not just a school employee, but a person who is dear to you, he opens up a new, vast, exciting world for you.

Teacher's Day - probably the most famous professional holiday in our country.

Previously, it was always celebrated on the first Sunday of October, but since 1994, Teacher’s Day has been “assigned” a permanent date - October 5, when this holiday is celebrated in more than a hundred countries around the world.

However, there are states in which the date of the holiday differs from the generally accepted one. So in Argentina, in memory of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, the “mentor of Latin America,” the holiday is celebrated on September 11, and in Taiwan on September 28, the birthday of Confucius.

On the eve of Teacher's Day, children's editorial teams begin working in each school to design wall newspapers and posters for the holiday. Would you like to make your congratulations for your class teacher or the entire teaching staff of the school unusual and festive? Pay attention to the tips below that will help you design your children's work. In addition to the fact that the page contains recommendations, you can follow the links to find templates for designing a wall newspaper.

Wall newspaper for Teacher's Day, download template

At the beginning of October, a wall newspaper is traditionally designed for Teacher's Day. This is a kind of school printed publication, which will contain congratulations for teachers, funny and solemn poems, short humorous stories and sincere wishes. It is sometimes no easier for an eleventh-grader to beautifully design a wall newspaper or a poster for teachers than for a first-grader. A 1st grade student does not yet know how to write or draw beautifully, but a graduate already seems to have run out of ideas in his bright head. Both will benefit from templates that can be used to create a wall newspaper for Teacher’s Day in a few minutes.

Newspaper for Teacher's Day from students and parents

Most often, primary classes publish a joint newspaper from students and parents for the holiday of teachers. Children are still small, so young parents take all the initiative into their own hands. And wall newspaper templates that can be downloaded from the site will help here. 8 blank sheets are glued together. The result is a real newspaper. All that remains is to color it, which even first-graders can do and fill the empty spaces with congratulation tests.

Another beautiful wall newspaper for Teacher's Day

Teacher's holiday is always imbued with autumn notes. To design a wall newspaper for Teacher's Day, use templates (also on 8 printed sheets), which will look amazing after the children glue them into a single canvas and brightly color them with gouache or felt-tip pens. The forest school itself came to congratulate the teachers when the leaves and sky around them turned yellow became a little more grey. The perimeter of such a newspaper can be decorated with dried maple leaves. Under no circumstances should you use fresh leaves for decoration, as they will quickly lose their attractiveness and make the wall newspaper extremely unattractive.

Poster for Teacher's Day: buy or make it yourself

Posters for Teacher's Day must be hung in school corridors, recreation areas, and in the assembly hall. They differ from wall newspapers in that they are made in a more strict form and contain only texts of congratulations or quotes from great people. You can make posters for Teacher's Day with your own hands, that is, draw them, or you can buy ready-made ones in the store and hang them around the school. Maybe typographic works look more stylish, but they are soulless and formulaic. It is much more pleasant to do such work yourself, even if you print the base on a printer. Look at examples of children's work created by boys and girls for the holiday, and don't be afraid to get to work. The result will certainly please both those who will create a wall newspaper or poster for Teacher’s Day, and those to whom congratulations are intended.

Why do you need a wall newspaper?

Wall newspapers or posters are an integral attribute of school life; every holiday and event is accompanied by them. They can be either informative or simply beautiful, poster-like. Each wall newspaper must follow the same theme and style. The most popular format is a sheet of Whatman paper A1, but it is not mandatory. A wall newspaper or poster can be larger, smaller, square-shaped, or even made on a computer and printed. But still, a classic, and in some ways more valuable option is a do-it-yourself wall newspaper.

How to draw a wall newspaper for Teacher's Day?

Teacher's Day is a special school holiday. A wall newspaper for Teacher's Day may not contain a lot of information, it is often a large postcard, it can even be a newspaper for a specific teacher, which can be hung in his classroom.

Designing a wall newspaper is not as simple an activity as it seems. An open book with poems written in it, with rulers, pencils and globes scattered around - such images are very “hackneyed” and banal. By showing your imagination, you can use an ordinary school wall newspaper to make a truly original and pleasant congratulation for Teacher’s Day, which will leave a good impression on teachers and give them a festive mood.

You can design a poster or wall newspaper for the holiday using different materials:

  • paints,
  • gouache,
  • watercolor,
  • acrylic,
  • colour pencils,
  • pastel,
  • markers.

The brightest and most colorful are wall newspapers drawn in gouache. Acrylic is also beautiful, but more expensive and less practical. Colored pencils look rather faded, pastels are easily smudged if they are not properly sealed with varnish, and markers are inconvenient for painting large surfaces. Watercolor looks beautiful and bright only if you know how to draw with it correctly; you can also combine it with helium pens. But this is not easy for those who have never learned to draw, so gouache is the best option; besides, it lays smoothly and dries quickly.

The wall newspaper picture can be diluted with a collage of photographs or interesting thematic clippings from magazines. It always looks bright and stylish if placed harmoniously.

DIY wall newspaper for Teacher's Day: examples and tips

One of the main school attributes is the school board. You can use this in your wall newspaper. We take cardboard or some kind of cardboard box, ideal for cereal or oatmeal.

If you use cardboard, you will need two rectangles, from the edge of which you need to step back a few centimeters, draw a vertical line along the entire side and bend it.

If a box is used, then you can simply “rip it open”. This is how we get the “wings of our board”. On whatman paper we draw a rectangle so that its width is equal to the width of one “wing”, and its length is equal to the total length of the wings. This will be the basis of the "school board". Actually, we paint both the base and the doors green, not forgetting the white frame. The background and content around the “board” are optional. The main thing is not to forget that the inscriptions on the improvised board should be written in white.

There are several subtleties of filling a wall newspaper that are useful to know. For example, if you don’t want to make the background a single color, and especially don’t want to leave it white, you can always take a brush, dip it in paint and start spraying it on whatman paper. You can also squirt using a toothbrush. Or you can use a solution of soap bubbles and tint it with paint. Blow bubbles from the resulting solution onto the paper using a pen without a rod. And in the end, you can simply leave colorful handprints of all the students in the class. After they are dry, have each child write their own congratulations to the teacher on their print. The number of colors that should be used depends on the style you choose.

It is always better to write headings by hand; for this you should find a person with beautiful and even handwriting. The printed titles look very machine-like. But to present information, it is better to use printed text rather than handwritten text, which is always more difficult to read, even if it is written in beautiful handwriting. Therefore, if there is a lot of small text, it is better to print it (on colored paper) and paste it into a wall newspaper.

School, and especially Teacher's Day, is associated with autumn, and autumn with fallen leaves. Therefore, you can stick colorful autumn leaves on your work. They will look great on a wall newspaper for Teacher's Day, especially maple ones.

Do not forget that any creative work should be done with soul, carefully and with imagination, and then everything will definitely work out.
