What groups were there in the 90s? How to order a star for a holiday, prices for an anniversary, birthday

Some of the performers who were the kings of Russian school discos in the nineties have not been heard from for many years.

Other stars are still “afloat” - participating in TV shows, recording new songs, or even experiencing a second wave of all-Russian fame.

We invite you to find out how life turned out for the pop stars of the 90s.

Natalia Vetlitskaya

Natalya Vetlitskaya was one of the most beautiful women on the post-Soviet stage. And also one of the most daring - it was for her that Fyodor Bondarchuk shot a video for the song “Look into your eyes,” where in one of the frames the make-up artist powders the star’s butt. Since 2013, Natalya Vetlitskaya left her career and settled with her daughter in Spain. However, the star does not allow himself to be forgotten and periodically shares his opinions on his Facebook page.

Andrey Gubin

The main object of desire for all girls in the 90s, Andrei Gubin ruined the lives of those of them who were given the name “Liza” at birth for decades: as soon as he introduces himself, the interlocutor immediately begins to hum his hit. Gubin wrote many wonderful songs, but at some point he disappeared from television and radio broadcasts. In the mid-2000s, it turned out that the singer was seriously ill.

Lyubov Uspenskaya

Since the late 70s, Lyubov Uspenskaya sang in a restaurant in Brighton, and in the 90s she returned to Russia and began performing with the songs “Cabriolet”, “I’m Losing” and others. The editors of uznayvsyo.rf recall that at the beginning of the 2000s almost nothing was heard about her - until Uspenskaya began working on the Channel One show. After returning to show business, her name regularly appears on the pages of the tabloids: Uspenskaya, who is already over 60, is blamed for numerous plastic surgeries and “beauty injections.”

Natalie

After the super-successful hit “The Wind Blew from the Sea,” Natalie disappeared from the radar for several years. The singer was involved in raising children and home (she has three sons). However, in the 2000s, she returned to the stage: she recorded a dubious track with Nikolai Baskov, and then repeated the initial success with the impossibly catchy song “Oh God, what a man!”

Irina Nelson

Irina Nelson started out at the dawn of the 90s under the pseudonym “Diana”, but did not have much success. In the 2000s, she became a member of the group Reflex and, among other things, recorded the hit “Go Crazy.” Irina Nelson was remembered in 2017, when she quite unexpectedly received the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree, with the wording “for services to the development of culture.”

Yuriy Shatunov

After leaving the “Tender May” group, Yuri Shatunov left Russia, but did not give up music: he received an education as a sound engineer. After returning home, he recorded several albums, including the new hit “Grey Night”. In 2015 he received an award for his contribution to Russian show business. Lives with his family in Germany.

Decl

Kirill Tolmatsky, the son of a producer, who became famous in the late 90s under the pseudonym Decl, has changed a lot since then. Now he has changed his pseudonym to LeTruk, instead of hip-hop, which was fashionable in the past, he records music in the dancehall genre, works with Western and Asian musicians, and in his spare time he sues the rapper Basta and argues with him on Twitter.

“Blood is my blood” - one of Decl’s main hits

A sad addition: on the night of February 3, 2019, Decl died of sudden cardiac arrest.

Arkady Ukupnik

Arkady Ukupnik became a legend of the 90s and an example of kitsch. Who doesn’t remember his immortal hits about the passport and “Sim-Sim, give yourself up” (the latter, by the way, is painfully reminiscent of the Army Of Lovers song and has earned a place in our ranking of Russian plagiarisms)? The editors of the site note that in the 2000s Arkady tried himself as an actor - he played in “Chicago” staged by Philip Kirkorov, and also organized jazz festivals.

Sasha Zvereva

The cheerful girl, who in the 90s sang in the Demo group about “The Sun in Her Hands,” gave birth to three children and has lived in Los Angeles since 2014. Since 2011, Sasha Zvereva has been engaged in a solo career as a singer and DJ and has managed to record three albums. However, there were no big hits on them.

Bogdan Titomir

Bogdan Titomir was a real sex symbol of the 90s. At first he performed as part of the group “Kar-man”, and later took up a solo career. His biggest hit is “Do As I Do.” In addition, a cover of Sofia Rotaru’s song “Chervona Ruta” was popular as part of the project “Old songs about the main thing” by Konstantin Ernst. In the 2010s, Titomir continues to record songs and appear at parties, but no more big hits have been heard from him yet.

Tatiana Bulanova

Tanya Bulanova in the 90s was known as the “singer who cries.” Among her hits of that time, most were about the hard lot of women. At some point, the producers decided to change her image and recorded the cheerful song “My Clear Light” with a deliberately kitsch video: kokoshniks, spindles, and other attributes of a “Russian woman.” In the 2000s, Bulanova returned to the stage in a Channel One show and it turned out that her timbre was the same as that of Patricia Kaas.

Evgeniy Osin

Evgeny Osin, author of the hits “The Girl Is Crying in the Machine” and “I Don’t Believe”, so beloved by the courtyard romantics of the 90s, at the beginning of his career performed under the auspices of the Moscow Rock Laboratory, for some time he sang in the famous group “Bravo”, while he was not replaced by Valery Syutkin, later created the rock group “Avalon” and only in 1991 began his solo career. Deciding to play on the listeners' nostalgia for the 70s, he recorded several songs with a guitar with simple lyrics: love, girls and betrayal. Among the admirers of Yevgeny Osin’s work was President Boris Yeltsin - at one of the singer’s concerts, he got up on stage and enthusiastically began to rock out to the song “Yalta.”

However, with the advent of the new decade, his career began to decline. He got married, and after the birth of his daughter he began to drink. There was no new creativity, there were no concerts. Osin interrupted by speaking at corporate events, but eventually the cash flow dried up. His wife left with his daughter, and the singer slipped into the black abyss of alcoholism. Now he is struggling with alcohol addiction - with varying degrees of success.

The nineties will now forever remain a time of nostalgia for those in their thirties now. Songs that irritated me during my school years now awaken the fondest memories of my youth. Unfortunately, some artists are no longer alive and will not record new hits. The editors of uznayvsyo.rf invite you to remember the stars who passed away too early.

Let's remember the popular musical groups of the 90s and 2000s, to whose songs the whole country danced then, and also learn about the future fate of their participants.

t.A.T.u. The group was created in 1999 and initially actively exploited the image of same-sex love in both songs and videos, which to some extent became the key to success. In 2003, Yulia Volkova and Lena Katina even participated in Eurovision, taking third place. Six years after this, having gone through impressive international success, the team parted ways.

Volkova began her solo career. Back in 2004, she gave birth to a daughter, Victoria, and three years later she became the wife of the son of a businessman, Parviz Yasinov, to whom she gave birth to a son, Samir.

Elena Katina has been participating in the international solo project Lena Katina since 2009 and moved to Los Angeles. The performer is married to Slovenian rock musician Sasho Kuzmanovic, to whom she gave birth to a son two years ago.

"Lyceum". The girl trio consisting of Nastya Makarevich, Lena Perova and Izolda Ishkhanishvili made their debut on the TV show “Morning Star” in 1995, and their main hit was the song “Autumn”.

Lena Perova was the first to be fired from the group, and after a while Isolde also left. Only Nastya Makarevich is still constantly present in the group, accompanied by different girls. Now the Lyceum star is 40 years old, she is married to a lawyer and has two sons.

Isolda Ishkhanishvili left show business, lives in Switzerland, is engaged in business in the field of luxury cosmetics and is the wife of construction magnate Dmitry Desyatnikov, to whom she gave birth to a son five years ago.

Elena Perova tried to return to show business, wrote songs and soundtracks for films, hosted talk shows, participated in various television projects and even starred in TV series, and in addition, she struggled with alcohol and drug addictions, and got into car accidents. Not married, no children.

"Hi-Fi". The official founding date of the group is August 2, 1998, when the producer brought together artists Mitya Fomin, Timofey Pronkin and Oksana Oleshko. Producer Pavel Yesenin himself planned to become the soloist of the group, but not wanting to go on tour, he made Fomin his “avatar”, who began to “sing” songs recorded in Yesenin’s voice.

At the beginning of 2003, Oksana Oleshko left the group and show business, deciding to devote herself entirely to her family. Her place was taken by the now famous performers Tatyana Tereshina and Katya Li, who also did not stay in the team.

At the beginning of 2009, the popularity of “Hi-Fi” fell and for the sake of a solo career, Mitya Fomin left the band, who has since been busy with solo work. "Hi-Fi" is a duet between Timofey Pronkin and alternating female vocalists.

"Arrows". The pop group was created by the Soyuz studio in 1997, seven were selected from among four thousand applicants: Yulia "Yu-Yu" Dolgasheva, Svetlana "Gera" Bobkina, Maria "Margot" Korneeva, Ekaterina "Radio Operator Kat" Kravtsova, Maria "Mouse" Solovyova, Anastasia "Stasya" Rodina and Lia Bykova.

By the beginning of the 2000s, the composition had changed considerably, which is why the popularity began to wane. Both 2004 and 2009 are recognized as the date of the group’s breakup. In August 2015, “Strelki” announced the reunion of the team in the golden lineup, although today only a trio remains of it.

"Bachelor party." The hip-hop trio was founded in 1991 by producer Alexey Adamov. The glorified details of intimate life to the rhythms of North American rap became the key to the success of the group.

“Bachelor Party” lasted until 1996, after which the musicians closed the project. Andrey "Dolphin" Lysikov began a solo career, which he continues to this day. Married to photographer Lika Gulliver, father of two children.

Pavel "Mutabor" Galkin and Andrey "Dan" Kotov tried to revive the group, recorded several albums, but the time of "Bachelor Party" had already passed. As a DJ Mutabor performs in various clubs in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, London, New York, Dublin, etc.

"Hands up!". The group appeared in 1993, when radio DJs of the Samara “Europe Plus” Sergei Zhukov and Alexey Potekhin recorded several songs and gave them to friends at the “Maximum” radio station... Soon they played “Student”, “Ay-Yay-Yay”, “My Baby” " and "I'm 18 already" were danced by schoolgirls all over the country.

The team broke up in 2006 and the guys have not disclosed the reasons for this to this day. Alexey Potekhin started producing young performers. Married twice, has a daughter.

Sergei Zhukov continued to perform, first solo, and then again under the name “Hands Up!” The performer is married for the second time and is the father of four children.

"Russian size". The team presented listeners with dozens of dance hits: “Angel of the Day”, “Star of Separation”, “Spring”, “Like this”... Soon the group began to constantly change soloists and producers, and a conflict arose between the founding fathers.

Now Dmitry Kopotilov, the author of the group’s main hits, continues to perform under the “Russian Size” brand. The musician is married and has a son.

The current group of Viktor Bondaryuk was called “Project Size”, and now is called “140 beats per minute”. The musician is married to the actress of the TV series “Kitchen” Irina Temicheva.

"Ivanushki International". Boy bands are the favorites of schoolgirls in the 90s. The group still exists, but from the original composition Kirill Andreev and Andrey Grigoriev-Apollonov remain in it.

In March 1998, Igor Sorin decided to pursue a solo career, and in September of the same year, the musician died, according to investigators, after falling from a sixth-floor balcony.

Igor’s place in the group was taken by Oleg Yakovlev, who left the team in 2013 also for a solo project. Last summer, the performer died of cardiac arrest due to bilateral pneumonia and cirrhosis of the liver.

And this is what the 2017 version of Ivanushki International looks like.

"Demo". The group with vocalist Sasha Zvereva "shot" in 1999 with the hit "Sun in Hands."

Zvereva performed under the name of the group until 2011. Now the girl lives in Los Angeles, designs and raises three children.

"Brilliant" were one of the most popular "girl" groups of the 90s. Its first lineup was Olga Orlova, Polina Iodis, Irina Lukyanova and Zhanna Friske, with Orlova singing mainly, while the rest danced and performed backing vocals.

At the end of 1998, Polina Iodis left the group, took up extreme sports, and hosted the “Affordable Extreme” program on the MTV Russia channel. Since 2010, the girl has lived in Bali and surfed.

In March 2003, Irina Lukyanova left the team, devoting herself to her family and her soon-to-be-born daughter, Anya. Perhaps everyone knows about the sad fate of Zhanna Friske.

After leaving the group, Olga Orlova performed with solo projects, acted in films, played in the theater, and other performers have performed and continue to perform under the “Brilliant” brand for a long time.

"Virus!". The group's famous hits were the songs "Hands", "Everything will pass", "I'll ask you", "Happiness" and others. The first line-up of the group was Olga Lucky Kozina - vocalist, author of words and music, as well as keyboardists Yuri Stupnik and Andrey Gudas.

In 2011, Olga Lucky presented to the public her new musical project "The CATS", but at the moment the group "Virus!" actively tours and releases new songs.

"Visitors from the future". The duet group of Eva Polna and Yuri Usachev produced the hit “Run from Me” in 1998, which broke all popularity records.

In the spring of 2009, Eva Polna announced the breakup of the group and the start of her solo career. In addition to music, she is interested in fashion and is raising two daughters, Evelina and Amalia.

Back in 2002, Yuri Usachev became the general producer of the recording company Gramophone Records. Now he devotes himself to new projects "Art-house", "My-Ti" and "Zventa Sventana", tours as a DJ, and collaborates as a sound producer with the stars of Russian show business. His wife is the famous performer Tina Kuznetsov

Reflex. A dance pop project, which for a long time included only Irina Nelson, who was joined by dancers and backing vocalists Alena Torganova and Denis Davidovsky in early 2000.

Since 2012, Irina has been combining a solo career with working in a group as the main soloist. Married for a second marriage since 1993, she has a son Anton from her first marriage, who has already made the performer a grandmother.

On March 25, 2016, group member Alena Torganova announced her departure from the group, having worked in the team for fifteen years.

"Inveterate swindlers." The performers of the hits “Quit Smoking”, “Everything and Everything”, “Love”, “Love Me, Love” performed together for the first time on December 8, 1996. Now Sergey “Amoralov” Surovenko and Vyacheslav “Tom-Chaos Junior” Zinurov remain in the team from the original composition.

Igor “Garik” Bogomazov worked in the group from 1996 to 2011, and after leaving he hardly communicates with journalists and is not involved in creativity. According to him, his wife insisted on leaving show business, with whom he eventually divorced. According to media reports, now Igor is too passionate about alcohol.

"Tea for Two". The duet of composer and singer Denis Klyaver and poet, singer, entrepreneur and actor Stas Kostyushkin existed from 1994 to 2012.

Now Denis Klyaver is engaged in a solo career. He is married to his third marriage, the father of two sons, and in addition, in 2010, he officially recognized the fact of his paternity of Eva Polna’s daughter Evelyn.

Stas Kostyushkin launched a new project "A-Dessa". Also married to his third marriage, father of three sons.

Plasma. The group consisting of Roman Chernitsyn and Maxim Postelny was one of the first to perform songs exclusively in English for a Russian-speaking audience.

The band still exists, although they have released only four albums so far. Roman Chernitsyn was married to Irina Dubtsova, who bore him a son, Artem.

Prime Minister. The Russian pop group, formed in 1997, during its golden times included Vyacheslav Bodolika, Peter Jason, Zhan Grigoriev-Milimerov and Dmitry Lansky.

At the end of 2005, due to disagreements with the producer, Jean, Peter, Vyacheslav and Marat began working independently, but since they did not own the rights to the name “Prime Minister”, they were forced to call themselves “PM Group”. And their former producer recruited a new band under the same brand.

At the beginning of 2014, Vyacheslav Bodolika left the PM Group and went to Spain.

When we look at celebrities, we usually think that these people are definitely doing well. What exactly could be wrong with them? They are rich and famous, attending various social events and concerts. Not life, but raspberries. But stars are people just like you and me, with the same problems and unexpected twists of fate.
Some suffer from serious illnesses, others worry about a broken heart, and others struggle with alcoholism and drug addiction. Today we want to tell you about Russian stars of the 90s with a difficult fate.

Marina Khlebnikova, 52 years old

The superstar of the 90s carefully hid the troubles in her personal life - Marina tried to maintain the image of a carefree artist, and, by her own admission, she didn’t want to complain to the whole country. But, as it turns out, there were many reasons for complaints. The singer's first husband, guitarist Anton Loginov, was a fictitious husband: producer Bari Alibasov arranged a wedding for his ward in order to keep her in the Integral team - Marina found out about this when she was already married. The artist tried not to remember this and certainly not to discuss the marriage with journalists. However, the second marriage also turned out to be unhappy, despite the fact that this time the marriage was concluded out of mutual feelings. Khlebnikova married Mikhail Maydanich, general director of the recording company Gramophone Records, with whom she gave birth to a daughter, Dominica, in 1999. True, soon after the girl was born, Maydanich left his family. The separation, as the singer herself said, was accompanied by quarrels and beatings, after which the artist even ended up in the hospital.

Troubles in her personal life were accompanied by health problems, which eventually forced Khlebnikova to leave the stage. A dental cyst that grew over many years without treatment caused chronic sinusitis, which made it more and more difficult to sing... Now the artist is raising her daughter.

Andrey Gubin, 43 years old

Behind the success of the “tramp boy” was the artist’s father, Viktor Gubin, who was involved in both producing Andrei and supporting him in general. Andrei, who was gentle in character, relied on his father for everything, so the artist took the news about Viktor Gubin’s deteriorating health painfully. In 2007, after his father left, Gubin not only stopped performing - he ended up in a neurosis clinic, trying to cope with stress and insomnia.

Now Andrey does not perform and does not release new songs. The musician admits that he is not in the best shape for going out, although he regularly writes songs.

In September, Gubin became embroiled in a scandal with his allegedly illegitimate son. 21-year-old Maxim from Moscow claimed that his mother gave birth to him from his beloved musician, but a DNA test did not confirm the paternity of Andrei Gubin.

Alexander Aivazov, 44 years old

Remember the romantic songs “Where are you?”, “Butterfly Moon” and “Lilies for Lilies”? Off stage, musician Sasha Aivazov did not fall into a romantic addiction: last year, his wife and son left the artist due to drunkenness. However, Aivazov refused to consent to the divorce and went to a drug treatment clinic. Now the family has been reunited, and the artist has vowed not to touch alcohol.

Alcohol also had a detrimental effect on the career of a successful singer. Now Aivazov continues to write songs, but does not release hits.

Shura, 42 years old

Who would have thought that the crazy and bright Shura, who the audience associated with an eternal carnival and extravaganza, would leave the stage due to serious and tragic events in his life. The artist battled testicular cancer for seven years, undergoing chemotherapy and long rehabilitation. After treatment, the artist weighed 140 kilograms! But the fight against the disease was not the only test of the artist, who believes that the cause of cancer was his severe drug addiction. Shura became addicted to drugs in the wake of his popularity, when there was no one to tell him how best to spend his first large royalties. Now the artist does not communicate with his “friends” of his stormy youth, prefers solitude and dreams of children - last year the musician admitted that he plans to ask a surrogate mother for help.

Marina Volkova, 42 years old

17-year-old Barbie burst into show business with the song “You Paint Your Eyelashes.” The producers made big bets on the young and charismatic artist, but she chose to build her personal life: the girl escaped from the tutelage of managers and got married, breaking her contract. According to Marina, in those years the last thing she wanted was to work 24 hours a day under the supervision of producers who forbade her to communicate with young people and girlfriends. Later, Volkova tried to return to the stage, but she was unable to build either a career or a personal life. Now the former Barbie is not married and is as far away from show business as she once connected her future with - Marina works as a personal secretary.

Dana Borisova, 41 years old

Dana is unlucky in her personal life. After breaking up with her daughter’s father, businessman Maxim Aksenov, in 2007, the TV presenter tried to find love on the show “Let’s Get Married!”, where she chose businessman Alexei Pankov, who turned out to be a gigolo.

In the summer of 2015, Borisova married businessman Andrei Troshchenko - this marriage became her first official marriage and so far her only one. Then the blonde said that she had finally found “the one,” but... six months after the wedding, Troshchenko and Borisov divorced. At the same time, Troshchenko left his wife in her own car. Borisova reported the theft because her husband did not answer calls.

As soon as discussions about Dana's divorce subsided, it became known about her drug addiction. In the spring, Dana’s friends - TV presenter Andrei Malakhov and musician Prokhor Chaliapin - deceived her into sending her to Koh Samui for rehabilitation. Until recently, Borisova thought that she was participating in the filming of a reality show in Thailand. It turned out that a clinic, conversations with a psychologist, yoga and complete isolation awaited Dana on the island.

At the clinic, Dana tried to use psychotropic drugs, which she secretly brought with her, stated that she was being held by force, and in Moscow, meanwhile, they were discussing at what point the situation with Dana got out of control. The TV presenter's ex-boyfriend Alexey Pankov stated that Dana had been an addict for many years, and in 2014 she had a heart attack.

Dana herself believes that her addiction dates back to her youth, when at the age of 16, on the advice of her mother, she began to regularly take sleeping pills. Dana began using psychotropic substances together with her PR director, the late Tim Brick, who died in 2016.

Be that as it may, Dana managed to come to her senses: she returned from the island sober and enlightened, ready to help other addicts. But in Moscow, Borisova faced another test: her ex-husband, having learned about the drug story, sued her for custody of her 10-year-old daughter Polina. Dana assures that her daughter is opposed to her and only answers the phone to insult her mother.

The latest gloomy news related to Dana today was rumors about Borisova’s suicide attempt. Allegedly, the TV presenter took potent drugs that were prescribed to her as part of drug addiction treatment, and then she called an ambulance. Dana denied this and stated that she really called the doctors, but she did not have thoughts of suicide. “I’ve been sick for the last three weeks. The terrible dry cough got worse. I took a large amount of medicine prescribed by the doctor and felt unwell. I called an ambulance and they washed me,” Dana said. We can only wish Borisova a complete recovery from all illnesses.

Evgeny Osin, 53 years old

The courtyard romantic of the 90s has lost his former enthusiasm, and alcohol is to blame. Osin sought solace in drinking, having fallen into depression after a divorce. His only daughter Agnia remained to live with her mother, and for some time Osin taught music at the girl’s school in order to communicate with the child. Evgeniy tried to produce a teenage group with the participation of his daughter, but did not achieve success. As a result, due to alcoholism, Agnia completely stopped communicating with her father.

Last August it became known that Osin’s condition was catastrophic. The footage from the program “New Russian Sensations” on NTV was shocking. In front of the camera is a man with a slurred tongue, apparently after a long binge, preparing for hospitalization. A little later, the doctor said that a delay in treatment could cost the artist his life. Information appeared that Osin was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver, but Osin himself denied this.

Having been discharged from the hospital - with or without cirrhosis - Evgeniy Osin... returned to his usual way of life. In the spring, he filed a complaint with the police against his unfamiliar drinking buddies who had robbed him. At the end of the summer, Osin went to the hospital, and from there he went to Samui to a clinic, where they helped Dana Borisova. True, Osin didn’t like it in Thailand because of the strict regime and restrictions. But nevertheless, the rehabilitation, despite the patient’s dissatisfaction, yielded results: the musician appeared in Andrei Malakhov’s studio sober and fit.

Chris Kelmi, 62 years old

Another patient of the Asian rehabilitation clinic is musician Chris Kelmi. Since 2011, news about the artist has been associated exclusively with his drunken antics and crimes. Kelmi was deprived of his license for drunk driving, but this did not stop the artist: he continued to drive drunk and without a license, for which he was imprisoned several times for several days. In 2014, Kelmi became the culprit of a serious accident in which a motorcycle driver was almost injured, and a few months later the drunken artist was taken to the hospital straight from the street - he fell asleep on a bench.

In 2015, a drunk Kelmi appeared in Andrei Malakhov’s studio, and a couple of years later Dana Borisova decided to take on her colleague. At that time, the musician’s condition was critical: Kelmi suffered more than 10 epileptic seizures and several strokes. After a month of rehabilitation on Samui, Kelmi decided to return, but he had another attack at the airport, and Chris remained on the island, where he is still located.

Every era has its own idols. In the dashing 90s, we simply adored pop music: we fell in love with the “sweet boy” Andrei Gubin, danced to the songs of Irina Saltykova, protested to the hits of the Gaza Strip. But then these stars were replaced by new performers. Where did the celebrities of the 90s disappear, read in this review.

Andrey Gubin

Andrey Gubin is a “sweet boy” from the 90s, a favorite of girls. Any of his songs immediately became a hit.
However, in 2004, a disease of the nervous system forced the singer to abandon his career. His last song was recorded in 2009. Now 41-year-old Andrei does not attract crowds of thousands, does not give interviews, but continues to write songs.

Irina Saltykova

Irina Saltykova’s not-so-outstanding vocals were more than compensated for by her striking appearance. In the early 2000s, Irina recorded several more albums, but they were no longer as popular as her first works. In 2010, the singer opened an atelier with the pretentious name “House of Beauty and Style of Irina Saltykova.” She is now 49 years old. The singer is in great shape and periodically performs at corporate events.

Marina Khlebnikova

Marina Khlebnikova suffered the same fate as the other singers in this review. In the 2000s, she was replaced by new, younger artists. After the singer’s career began to decline, Khlebnikova tried to find herself in the acting field. She starred in 8 films. This was followed by several television projects in which Marina acted as a presenter. Now Marina performs at corporate events or concerts in the “Stars of the 90s” style.

Lika Star

Fate Faces Star turned out a little differently than the overwhelming number of stars of the 90s. After her rapid career, the girl managed to successfully marry Italian businessman Angelo Ceci in the early 2000s. Now the former singer has three children (two of them from an Italian). She lives on the island of Sardinia and does not regret leaving Russia.

Shao?Bao!

For the group " Shao?Bao!“The song in Ukrainian “Kupyla Mama Konyka” became a ticket to Russian show business. Then this hit sounded from every kiosk. But when the provincial artists got to the capital, they managed to quarrel with all the producers, and never went further. Today, fragments of their former glory haunt the performers, and they tour small provincial towns and try to write new songs.

Gaza Strip

In the case of the group " Gaza Strip"her popularity ended due to the death of the vocalist Yuri Khoya in 2000. Over the next few years, individual members of the group and Hoy's relatives tried to perform hits of the 90s. But none of these projects became truly successful.
Many aging stars of the 90s just can’t come to terms with the fact that their star time has passed and are trying to prolong their youth by doing plastic surgery. Some of them succeed, while others become like wax dolls, the same as

Each period leaves a special mark on history. So the 90s will be remembered for a long time by everyone for the musical groups that will remain forever in the memory of the youth of those years.

“The smoke of menthol cigarettes...” and “She has a granite pebble in her chest...” literally all the girls sang. The songs of the groups “Nancy” and “Ladybug” were at every discos, regardless of the age of the audience. The girls wrote many letters with declarations of love to members of male groups, such as “Ivanushki International”, “Tender May”, “Na-Na”, “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”, “Hi-Fi”. Memories of first love are undoubtedly accompanied by memories of the groups “Demo”, “Virus”, “Guests from the Future”, “Brilliant”, “Strelki” and “Kraski”. First kisses, first dance, first relationship - each of these periods had its own unforgettable music, which even after many years will bring back memories of those events.

It is impossible not to remember the cult group “Hands Up”. Hundreds of love songs, videos that you couldn’t stop watching, and an entire youth built on the lines of songs. For more than 20 years, the team has been delighting fans with its creativity. Soloist Sergei Zhukov is still the main star of concerts in the 90s.
