Essay I am a teacher music director. Essay by the musical director of a kindergarten “My profession is a musical gardener

ESSAY

I have been working as a music director in a kindergarten for over 35 years. Of course, I already have enough experience, but I continue to learn, try to learn and keep up with important events in the field of preschool education.

Why did I become a music director? The reasons for choosing this profession are the example of my mother, who worked with preschoolers all her life. I love being with children, watching them develop, grow, become more skillful, knowledgeable and confident. Work brings me satisfaction and joy. Why? Because it is very joyful and pleasant to meet grown-up pupils and hear that the knowledge, skills and abilities acquired in kindergarten have made their lives more interesting and fuller.

At work, daily self-education occurs in communication with colleagues and children. Every day I plan and implement something. Everything in our life is running, and sometimes I can’t keep up with it. In my work I want to give children as much musical and performing experience as possible. And in my free time I like to grow flowers. I have a lot of them both at home and in the country.

Musical - didactic game for children to identify musical genres

ESSAY

I am the music director. How many new abilities this profession has revealed in me! My work is unique in that it combines different professions: musician and artist, screenwriter and director, costume designer and actor, make-up artist and sound engineer. The music director designs the music hall, writes scripts, and conducts numerous holidays.

I have been working in my own kindergarten relatively recently - I was lucky enough to get here immediately after graduating from music college. But already in these short 3 years I have managed to fall in love with my wonderful, incredibly kind and talented colleagues and, of course, children. Children are a powerful life engine for me, they force me to discover and learn new things, stimulate me to become better, and charge me with their excellent mood and spontaneity.

My, albeit small, experience allows me to conclude that working with children, of course, presupposes the creativity of the teacher himself, without which it is impossible to imagine the creative development of children. Consequently, the musical and creative development of children and the atmosphere of joy in kindergarten largely depend on how professionally literate and talented you are.

Every day, when getting ready for work, you involuntarily ask yourself questions: What awaits me today? How will the kids greet and appreciate me? How will learning a new dance go with older students? This mystery allows me to make every day different from the other. My workdays are not a routine at all, but a daily holiday, which combines two great miracles - children and music.

I really love our kindergarten and am proud of my profession. It is honorable because it leaves a good feeling and allows children and society to feel useful. Only a teacher receives the world's greatest reward - a child's smile and a child's laughter.

ESSAY

I am a musician! And I'm proud of it!

My profession is music director. It sounds dry, soulless, one-faced. However, dig deeper and you will find that there is truth in these two words. “Musical” - beautiful, sensual, affectionate, playful. “Leader” - giving a hand to the ignorant, the fearful, and leading into the new, unknown, beautiful. We give light. We teach to love, understand, empathize, feel. Thus, we, musicians, create a harmonious personality, which in the future will always find a way out of any situation with dignity and honor. We inspire, give the opportunity to soar above the world and see all the beauty of the universe. Of course, not in the literal sense. Music guides us...

Once upon a time, 30 years ago, my mother took me to a music school. I didn’t know what it was. I only knew that they would teach me music. This was a new world for me. A world of miracles, magic, fabulous transformations. I learned to feel the universe around me... not just see, touch, but also feel inside myself, passing through my heart and soul. I learned to merge with the music. Having matured a little, I realized that music is an opportunity to analyze certain situations from the point of view of beauty and uniqueness.

Years passed, and fate brought me to school, I worked as a music teacher for 10 years, and after the birth of my child I ended up in kindergarten No. 199. And life took on a new meaning! A new stage has begun. The stage of my formation as a magician who gives fairy tales to children. On the very first day, seeing the delighted eyes of the kids, I realized that I had no right to deceive the hopes of these devoted creatures who completely believed in an adult. I have to give them what they expect from me. Namely: magic, fairy tale, love, faith, hope...

And I began to learn, together with the kids, to understand music in a new way, through the eyes and heart of a child. Sincerely, without deception. And, you know, I think kids teach me a lot to this day. The music director is directly responsible for the “construction” of the little man’s soul, his little inner world. We make it richer, brighter, more saturated. What a joy it is to see the delighted eyes of a child when he begins to understand the language of music and gets acquainted with new concepts such as “genre”, “timbre”, “rhythm”. And all this, of course, through a fairy tale, a game.

It is a great happiness for a teacher to see the happy faces of children, their sincere, genuine joy when they make a discovery for themselves. This is precisely the main principle of my work. After all, having made the discovery himself, the child is very proud of himself and his achievement. In this way, in my opinion, a confident personality develops. “I am myself!” - this is a step towards a fully developed person, both physically and mentally.

“Music inspires the whole world, supplies the soul with wings, promotes the flight of imagination; music gives life and joy to everything that exists... It can be called the embodiment of everything beautiful and everything sublime.”

My profession is a music director... It sounds dry, soulless, one-faced... However, if you look more closely, you can find a deep meaning in these words. “Musical” – beautiful, sensual, affectionate, playful. “Leader” – giving a hand to the ignorant, the fearful, and leading into the new, unknown, beautiful...

In my opinion, my chosen profession is unique! It gives light, teaches you to love, understand, empathize, feel, express, convey your feelings and emotions, attitude towards the world around you through various types of art.

I can’t boast that I dreamed of this profession since childhood... Of course, the memories of the “fairy of music” from kindergarten were the kindest and most tender. As a child, I was modest and shy, but the music director of the kindergarten was able to discern my abilities for various types of musical activities and not a single holiday was complete without my participation in concert numbers. So, my life continued to be accompanied by music in all its manifestations: choreography classes, mastering the performing arts on the piano, singing in a school choir, playing keyboard instruments (synthesizer) as part of a youth VIA, playing in the main city group of drummers. And this, accordingly, is preparation for exams, competitions, and concerts. Therefore, we can say that I know this aspect of life first-hand... Of course, none of this would have happened if it weren’t for the teachers who were able to see, teach, advise, guide, help express oneself, reveal confidence, introduce music from its various sides, learn to understand, distinguish and love music!

I had no doubt that my profession would be connected with music, but exactly how this would happen was not determined for a long time. Final exams in general education and music schools were approaching. And then one evening I came across my album of photographs from kindergarten... Memories of a kind, carefree childhood came flooding back, I remembered holidays and performances, and then the thought came: “Why don’t I become that very “fairy of music” who brought joy to those dear ones? kids from childhood photographs? The choice of profession left no more doubts. And, after 20 years of working in a preschool institution, I did not regret my spontaneous choice.

While receiving education in my specialty, I realized (with the help of highly professional teachers) that the profession of “music director” is not the banal “learn a song”, “listen to music”, “knock on a tambourine”, but purposeful work on the development of a comprehensively developed personality of a child. At meetings in the music hall, the teacher must know and put into practice the experience and knowledge of children from various areas of education: social-communicative, artistic-aesthetic, cognitive, speech, physical development, and conduct all this through the prism of familiarity with the world of music.

Through the means of music, the social and moral side of the future personality is formed. I try to instill in my students the foundations of humanity, justice, love and affection for loved ones, for their native land, for their Fatherland. In this regard, in my work with children I include works of the corresponding focus, thematic musical leisure activities, holidays, entertainment, and concert programs.

My pedagogical principle is to help the child open up, to make him feel his faith in the success of his education. For me, every child is a unique, inimitable personality. He is open to goodness and beauty, and is sensitive to lies. Just as a crystal bell pleases the ear with its euphony, so the soul of a child responds to the harmony of beauty. How a child perceives himself depends on the assessment we give him. I try to find the “right string” in a child’s soul that will respond with a beautiful, unique sound and make him believe in himself.

I consider the special function of a music director not to be the direct transmission of information, but to create an atmosphere of learning and the desire to learn more. I teach children not only to focus on their feelings, but also to understand and accept the point of view of other people “to think along with the music to the beat...”. When encountering music, I try to give children the opportunity to contemplate art from near and far, to get to know themselves through knowledge of the diversity of music. A.S. said this very well. Pushkin in “Monument”:

“...And for a long time I will be so kind to the people,
That I awakened good feelings with my lyre..."

The success of work on the musical development and education of children is impossible without the joint work of the music director and preschool teachers, whose work is aimed primarily at preserving the health of children. Health preservation is a priority in the work of our preschool educational institution, since, according to medical statistics, the number of preschool children with chronic diseases increases every year. Science has proven that musical development is inextricably linked with the physical well-being of a child. Singing develops the vocal apparatus, speech, strengthens the vocal cords, and regulates children's breathing. Rhythm improves a child’s posture, coordination, confidence and plasticity of movements. Listening to music helps improve mental health. In this regard, I include innovative methods and health-saving technologies in my teaching practice - active musical games, dynamic pauses, finger games, breathing exercises, logorhythmics, music therapy.

All this requires enormous preparation, daily emotional state, and constant improvement of self-education. With great interest I always get acquainted with the work experience of my colleagues, both at the city, regional, and All-Russian level, I try to follow the latest methodological developments in the field of music education and apply them in my practice.

I often re-read aphorisms and statements of famous people and understand how accurately they were able to notice and convey in words all the subtleties of the impact of music on a person, on his soul. Thus, even the ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle said: “Music is capable of having a certain effect on the ethical side of the soul; and since music has such properties, then, obviously, it should be included among the subjects of youth education.” And this is the indisputable wisdom of a person who understands the great power of music! The famous teacher V. A. Sukhomlinsky noted that “music unites the moral, emotional and aesthetic spheres of a person. Music is the language of feelings." It is in the process of perceiving music that feelings such as delight, inspiration, joy, wariness, and pity can be born. And for a child, these may be feelings still unknown, not experienced - tension, excitement, empathy. What responsibility lies with those who bring children into this world... This responsibility also lies with me. Our contemporary poet A. Zabelin said: “There is no more beautiful music in the world than that which sounds in the hearts of people.” I think these words have a deeper meaning than it seems at first glance. After all, if magical music sounds in a person’s heart, it means that goodness, joy and happiness come from him. And even in moments of sorrow, if there is music of sadness and pain in someone’s heart, it is also beautiful and sincere! After all, it is not without reason that at all times music and song accompanied a person at different periods of his life - lullabies were sung to a baby, work songs were made easier, ritual songs served as the basis for numerous ritual actions - the glorification of the mysterious forces of nature.

A professional portrait of a teacher is “painted” by his actions: skillfully organized educational activities, interesting holidays, shows, entertainment, smiles on the faces of the children and, of course, creative business contacts with parents.

Parents attend various musical events. They observe how their children have progressed in development. And in order to make these steps more confident, it is simply necessary to work closely with the parents of the students. After all, the modern world, unfortunately, pushes into the background close communication with your children, conversations, listening to “children’s” music in the family circle, singing lullabies to children... But this is so necessary for every child! How right are those who claim that children must be protected from the effects of heavy rhythms and disharmony, which is what modern children often hear in the family. Therefore, I try to involve parents in joint activities with children and preschool teachers in preparation for various events; I regularly speak at parent meetings, where I conduct various game master classes, provide individual consultations, post information on information stands, introduce parents to the additional education system of the city of Volgodonsk, and regularly post information on the preschool educational institution website.

“If at the most tender age, when a person is so receptive to everything beautiful, you awaken the artist in him, develop his ear and give him the necessary knowledge, then the subsequent life of our people will become immeasurably richer and fuller” (D. Shostakovich).

What is a modern music director at a preschool educational institution? This is a teacher, psychologist, accompanist, artistic director, choreographer, screenwriter, sound engineer, director of performances and concerts, designer and costume designer all rolled into one. Life does not stand still. Generations of children change, their interests change. And, in order to be interesting for your students, to know what they “breathe” and are interested in, you simply need to “keep your finger on the pulse of the times.” After years of a busy musical life in kindergarten, I realized how important the work of a music director is for the kindergarten as a whole. This musical world is the soul of every preschool educational institution. Music unites children, their parents, and teachers among themselves. The communicative properties of music are powerful and unique. Perhaps this is said too loudly, but I think that every music director should strive to be a worthy “face” of the kindergarten.

Sometimes it’s difficult! But it's worth it! Because it is extremely pleasant to see the result of their work in the students. It’s very warm and joyful in your soul when, before your eyes, a child “opens up”, becomes a “little artist”, and always eagerly strives to go to the music room: he wants to sing, dance, play, learn, create. And how nice it is to see your graduates in various creative groups of our city and to realize that you also contributed to the development of the child’s creative abilities, advised parents, directed them, and gave them a ticket to the vast world of art!

Everything that is important for children is always not in vain! Therefore, if you want to be useful, choose a job related to children, you can’t go wrong! I am sure that my profession will reveal more than one new facet to me. I am ready to develop, learn and remain a “fairy of music” for my students in the future. I am a music director and proud of it!

I would like to end my essay with the words of the famous musicologist and teacher Mikhail Kazinik: “If you want your children to take the first possible step towards the Nobel Prize, start not with chemistry, but with music. For music is food for the brain; all subsequent scientific discoveries are hidden in the structures of music. I. Einstein with a violin, and Planck at the piano - not an accident, not a whim, but a divine necessity.”

My approach to work

The work of a music director in a kindergarten can be compared to a stream; it is always in motion and has many voices. And since the “stream” cannot be stopped, that’s why I am always in motion, learning something new, unknown.
It's been 7 years since I've been in this position. From the first days it became clear that this job was for me! I love children, I am very happy when we achieve what we planned. I get pleasure when I see the happy faces of children who perform in front of their parents and peers at holidays and receive awards for winning competitions.
I like to see the success of the guys - my graduates. Many continue to be creative: they sing and dance, attending various clubs in the House of Culture and the Center for Children's Folk Art in our city. Some of the guys, on my recommendation, continue their studies at a music school. I work part-time at the Kindergarten, and my main job is as a music school teacher. My former students are my current students. It is very important to identify musical abilities in a child from childhood and develop them further. While studying at a music school, children become participants and winners of city, district and regional competitions and festivals. Their achievements are a part of my work, my talent, my soul!
I base my musical activities with children on the principles of developing creative potential, which is facilitated by: creating a warm, friendly, relaxed atmosphere with the goal of liberating each child; activity and lack of uncertainty; implementation of children's ideas during classes; organizing work so that musical activity is attractive, playful and creative.

Whenever possible, I always try to participate in professional skills competitions. This makes it possible to summarize the teaching activities, understand the level of one’s skills and outline a further path of development.
Music director is not a position, it is a calling! It is impossible to teach to love and understand what you do not love and do not understand yourself. All this requires enormous preparation, daily emotional state, and constant improvement of self-education. At this point in time, in connection with modern educational requirements, in the mode of working according to the Federal State Educational Standards, I use the design method in my educational work with children. Having studied methodological literature and applied knowledge in practice, I came to the conclusion that this method is relevant and very effective. It gives the child the opportunity to experiment, synthesize acquired knowledge, develop creativity and communication skills. In addition to long-term seasonal projects, I implement short-term thematic ones, such as: “Visiting a Fairy Tale”, “Nature and Music” and others.
My priority in working to develop musical abilities in preschoolers is musical and didactic games. The goal of this direction is to help children actively enter the world of music, stimulate the development of musical-sensory abilities, teach them to distinguish the properties of musical sound using visual-auditory and visual-visual methods of musical education.
While studying new modern educational technologies, I became interested in technology TRIZ(theory of inventive problem solving) And RTV (development of creative imagination). I have produced teaching aids, handouts, and developed games that I use in my practice. According to my observation, classes using TRIZ and RTV elements are a powerful means of developing active creative thinking in children: shyness is overcome, imagination develops, horizons and vocabulary expand. All this provides preschoolers with the opportunity for successful self-realization not only in music, but also in other activities.
I organized a music club in Kindergarten "Okay". Children of older groups study there. The goal of this circle is to develop the child’s creative personality by introducing him to the art of music. Classes in the circle include breathing and articulation exercises, vocal exercises, work on songs, a musical repertoire for listening to music, learning folk and modern dances, and playing children's noise instruments. My students annually take part in the regional competition “Golden Hive”, where they take prizes. We also perform at various city and regional festivals and show our creativity in our kindergarten.
Children enjoy attending club classes. They learn to listen and love music, feel its character, sing cleanly, without tension, acquire choreography skills, and in the future do not experience difficulties in the process of performing in front of an audience, behave confidently and relaxed, and become sociable.
In music classes and in the music club, we create unique images, and to make the image more complete, I think through every detail of clothing. I create costumes for performances myself and, of course, my parents help me. We demonstrate these costumes at the annual regional competition “Goldsmith”, for which we receive awards and prizes.
In my work, I closely interact with parents, where I use various forms of work: consultations, master classes, preparations and holding various themed events. Parents really like this cooperation, and they are happy to take part in all our events. Such cooperation brings success to our common work.
In my opinion, a music director should be a universal teacher. He must be able to answer all the countless children’s “whys?”, be able to “wake up” and support the child’s desire to perceive the world around him through feelings and emotions. Sometimes it’s difficult, but it’s worth it! Because it’s nice to see a piece of your hard work in your students. It’s very warm and joyful in your soul when a child “opens up” before your eyes, becomes a little artist, always eagerly strives to go to the music room: he wants to sing, dance, play, learn, create...

Music Director Essay

"Me, music and children"

Nadezhda Medvedeva

Music inspires the whole world, supplies the soul with wings, promotes the flight of imagination;

music gives life and joy to everything that exists.

She can be called the embodiment of all that is beautiful and all that is sublime.

I am working musical director. What does it mean music director in kindergarten? How many new abilities this profession has revealed in me! Speciality music director is unique in theme, that it combines different professions: musician and artist, screenwriter and director, costume designer and actor, make-up artist and sound engineer. He does design music hall, writes scripts, hosts numerous holidays. And how many types of activities need to be mastered in the process? musical and general development children: this is listening music, singing, musically- rhythmic activity, theatrical performance, playing the musical instruments. My many years of experience allow me to conclude that working with children in all these types of activities certainly presupposes the creativity of the teacher himself, without which it is impossible to imagine the creative development of children. In a word, it largely depends on how interesting, professionally - literate, talented you are. musical and creative development of children, an atmosphere of joy in kindergarten.

Every day spent with children encourages me to search for new ideas, stimulates me to improve my level of skill in order to further enjoy the results of my achievements and rejoice at the successes of my students.

Every day, when getting ready for work, you involuntarily ask yourself questions: What awaits me today? How will the kids greet and appreciate me? How will learning a new dance go with older students? Will the rehearsal go well? musical performance with the participation of senior students and teachers? I receive answers to all these questions during work or at the end of the working day. Sometimes, I cannot find answers to the questions that arise on my own, then I resort to the help of colleagues, look for answers in the literature, thereby increasing my self-education, which is an indispensable condition for the professional growth of any teacher.

In the modern education system, improving the qualifications of each teacher, mastering the latest pedagogical technologies and methods, is an important stage throughout his entire activity. Only a person who constantly studies and improves his professional level can be called a teacher with a capital T. A music director is a lifelong learner., developing and improving your professional experience and generously sharing it with colleagues, like-minded people, and parents.

Reflecting on my profession, I came to the conclusion that I stand at the origins of the birth of a child’s personality. It's up to me whether it helps music develop his best qualities personalities: spiritual sensitivity, the ability to feel the harmony of the surrounding world, kindness, sensitivity to beauty. The first meetings with the kids, when they first came to kindergarten, remain in the memory for a long time. During this difficult adaptation period for the child, it is necessary to plan musical activities in such a way that, forgetting grief and separation from people close to him, he can immerse himself in an atmosphere of joy and delight. In our modern age of computerization, innovation, improvement of programs and requirements for them, completely different people come to kindergarten kids: modern, developed, active, but there is something that unites children of yesteryear and modern kids - this is the desire to feel love, care, affection from an adult who is currently replacing his mother! And I carry this feeling throughout the many years of my work.

In constant search for new discoveries for ourselves and our students in a magical, wonderful world music, time flies unnoticed. Look, your kids have already grown up and are ready "stand on the wing". At graduation I feel joy because the children have grown up, pride, for music sadness has become a part of their life, because parting is always sad, and even more so if you part with the fidgets you love. But mostly I feel satisfaction from my profession.

I am convinced that the profession music director the best in the world! The music director is a person, which instills hope and self-confidence in a child’s soul, helping girls and boys achieve success in the future. What a joy it is to realize that in my profession two of the greatest miracles, in my opinion, are united - Children and Music!

Our life is like a kaleidoscope, you turn the mirror tube and the picture changes. Times change, everything around changes, colors, emotions, impressions are renewed. But no one can predict what pattern it will turn out to be. We don't know what's ahead. What changes await the world? What will our country be like? Who is destined to conquer the peaks, and who will remain at their foot?.. And yet, no matter what happens, we believe in the best, in a bright future. And the future is, first of all, our children - small and cute, fragile and helpless.

How multifaceted, multi-colored, versatile the worldview of a young creature will be, how open his soul will be to everything beautiful, how necessary he will become for the people around him - all this now, today depends on us, adults. Not to deceive his expectations, not to destroy his dreams, not to allow a rude invasion into his little pure reality - perhaps this is the main thing that each of us should remember every moment.

For me, my first music teachers were akin to celestial beings. More than four decades have passed, and I clearly remember watching in fascination the nimble fingers of Galina Vasilievna, the music director of the kindergarten where I spent my childhood. Fingers that “fly” across the keys of an antique black piano. The keys seemed to be pressed down chaotically and immediately took their original position, at the same time giving us children the magical, enchanting sounds of music. It was extremely interesting for me to watch all this action...

Galina Vasilievna was young and very beautiful, her whole appearance, in my understanding, was the embodiment of everything beautiful and everything sublime. Who would have thought then that in my adult life I too was destined to quite consciously choose the profession of a music director.

For a quarter of a century now, every day I open the doors of the kindergarten that has become my home. Every day I am faced with clear, specific tasks for the education and development of the foolish children entrusted to me. The life of a teacher consists of everyday life, full of anxiety and excitement, joys and sorrows, daring and searching. The life of a teacher is an eternal test of wisdom and patience, professional skill and human originality.

And I increasingly remember my childhood, trying to understand my purpose, to understand what every child who crosses the threshold of our music hall expects from me. I am happy that it is I who will lead the child into the enchanting and mysterious, solemn and sad, full of new and unknown world of music, that very art that cannot be seen or touched. Art that a child’s heart can understand and accept, or not understand and never allow into itself.

Again and again I work on every edge, polish every millimeter, and sincerely rejoice at every result, no matter how small. I try to pass all the feelings and experiences of children through my soul and heart.

By raising children, I get the right to carefully, carefully enter the space of childhood, filling its precious minutes with communication, play, creativity, passing on to the children everything that I once received from my respected teachers.

I believe that the essence of my profession is not only to provide the knowledge that I myself possess, but, to a greater extent, my task is to help children see and reveal the creative potential that is inherent in them by nature. I consider my profession to be extremely important, since I participate in the formation of a full-fledged spiritual personality of a little person.

And it doesn’t matter which path each of them chooses as an adult, the main thing is not to extinguish his inner spark in the present. This is the high mission of a teacher. Only then can I be sure that I have lived up to my childhood expectations. Only under this condition will my little crystal, my little person, sparkle with millions of joyful radiant facets. A person who is destined to live in the future.
