Do you know what I hear more often - “Oh, it’s that girl from “The Voice”” (in the fall of 2017, our heroine participated in “blind” auditions, and despite the fact that none of the judges turned to her, Yana put on a whole show, which was remembered by both the audience and the jury members - website note). Seriously. The day after the broadcast, to put it mildly, I could not calmly walk down the street. I didn't expect such a reaction.
website: How do you feel about this series?
J.K.: Positive! In my work, I try to enjoy the process, and not just the result. That is, for me it was not just two seasons that appeared on the screen, but several months of amazing filming and communication in a friendly team. The characters in the series were mostly men, and I very easily find a common language with the opposite sex, so it was a pleasure to film. Moreover, we still have a common chat with about 50 people, and we communicate every day, congratulate each other on holidays, and share news.

Y.K.: There have been no global changes, that’s for sure. Probably because I have dreamed about this all my life and am glad that my dreams come true. website: You have an acting education, and we increasingly see you as a TV presenter. Do you feel less competent?
Y.K.: I am a very self-critical person. It seems to me that in all my short acting career there has not been a single project in which I was 100% satisfied with my work. I will always find nuances that need to be corrected or made better. The same applies to the profession of TV presenter. I learn as I go, notice mistakes and try to correct them in the future. It's nice to see that the mistakes I made a couple of months ago have disappeared today. It is very important for me to improve, and I am sure that everything will be fine.
. Do negative comments on Instagram bother you?
Y.K.: At first it was very unpleasant. I cried and called my dad in tears so that he could calm me down. When it got to the point where people started writing unflattering comments about parents, I started blocking such subscribers. Parents are sacred, and I will not allow anyone to offend them. And then there came a moment when I simply stopped reacting to all this. And if I read comments today and find something unpleasant, it rather amuses me.
website: How do you feel about healthy criticism from people you don’t know?
Y.K.: Most often people write about my appearance, which I will never listen to. Everyone has their own ideas about beauty. Or does someone think that if he wrote that I have a big nose (or other prominent parts of the body), then I’ll go cut it off tomorrow? No, no and NO. I'm happy with everything. And if we talk about normal, constructive criticism, it is present, but to a much lesser extent. And I listen to such adequate opinions of people. It's important for me.
website: You touched on the topic of appearance, and I realized that I was reading comments of a different nature on your Instagram: they say that you are all so doll-like, which means you are unnatural. What do you think about it?
Y.K.: It’s easier for people to think that this or that pretty girl can’t get out from under the surgeon’s knife than to think that she works on herself every day. It’s easier to blame someone than to get up and, for example, go to the gym or go on a diet.
One of the most popular excuses a person makes is: “Yes, I would look even better with her money!” For example, one of my friends likes to talk about Alla Borisovna Pugacheva. This is, of course, funny. If you want to look the same, do something for it!

Everyone immediately started writing to me that I had hair extensions. The stylist couldn’t resist and began to prove that my hair was my own. But her subscribers don’t believe her, they say that I paid her for these words.
This is how this world works. Here you meet people by their clothes and their cover. And neither I nor anyone else can change this. Let people think what they want. They don’t know me, and judging a person by photographs on social networks and roles in films is very stupid. Conclusions need to be drawn when you know a person, you communicate with him, you are friends with him. People think that if I played a bitch in Molodezhka, then I am like that in real life. Well, this is funny!
website: Just about this: on your Instagram we see candid, sometimes provocative photographs, and now I’m talking to a modest girl with a minimum of makeup and in discreet clothes. So where is the real Yana?
Y.K.: It’s all me. It’s just that in everyday life (with rare exceptions), for example, I don’t wear things with a deep neckline. I feel uncomfortable myself, and plus it attracts too much attention. If I go out wearing what I wear for hosting the “Kings of Plywood” show and participating in photo shoots, they simply won’t understand me. Everything should be in place. When I'm going to an event, the dress code is discussed in advance, and a team of stylists and makeup artists selects my look. And in everyday life, I try to dress in such a way as not to attract attention to myself, and go for walks and meet friends for my own pleasure.
Y.K.: To be honest, the issue of choosing a dress for an event is always acute for me and my team; creative disputes arise.

Y.K.: This is a sore subject. I still can’t watch rhythmic gymnastics competitions without crying... For me it was my favorite activity. I think if you had not become an actress, you would have been a very good coach.
website: Perhaps a daughter will be born, and you will train her.
Y.K.: Oh, I don’t know... If you play sports professionally, it’s very cruel. In modern sports it is impossible to do without injuries. Now everything is much tougher than even when I was doing gymnastics. Going to sports just for health is not for me. If you’re going to do it, it’s to become an Olympic champion. I'm a maximalist.
Y.K.: Dad often says that I should have become a prosecutor, not an actress.

And then a man comes up to you and says: “Listen, I bet a thousand with my friend that you are that chick from the private security company.” Let’s go to our table, you can prove it to him, otherwise he won’t believe me.” So what will you do in this situation? Will you get up and go? Of course, I want to close myself off from all this. Also, lately I have met a lot of aggressive women, but I try not to react to it in any way. Probably, such women are not doing well in life, since they take out their anger on others.
Y.K.: Yes, and I think it came from childhood. Even then, there was great sport in my life, constant competitions in kindergarten, then at school. I have never been shy about reading poetry or performing on stage. I think this is due to my mother, who took me everywhere. I'm used to being in the public eye.
website: Did you like to study?
Y.K.: My performance depended on whether there were training camps or not. If they were (and add three training sessions a day to them), then academic performance, of course, fell. On other days, I studied perfectly well, and the teachers thought that I was copying from someone, so they sat me at a desk alone. In general, I often think about why people start going to school so early. Today, at 27 years old, I really want to study. I would love to take a history course - at 10 years old a child does not fully understand what war is. I would love to gain new knowledge in literature, Russian language, and biology. In childhood, neither teachers nor parents can fully explain to the child the importance of this knowledge.
website: Today during the conversation I heard the word “dad” many times. Are you daddy's girl?
Y.K.: I think so. The fact is that until I was 15 years old, I practically did not communicate with my father. My parents divorced when I was born, and only my mother raised me. We were very close, and at the age of 15 I started communicating with my dad.
website: All the years that you didn’t communicate with your father, didn’t you feel like you were missing something?
Y.K.: No, because my mother replaced my father and grandparents. We practically never separated. Mom is a driven person; there were difficult times in our lives, but she never allowed herself to give up. She raised two daughters - me and my older sister, worked three jobs, and she didn’t even have a thought about sending us to a boarding school or taking us to live with someone. It was my mother who pushed me everywhere, and at school, when I was expelled for poor performance due to sports, she went, negotiated, and got me into another school. Mom got me a place at the best sports school. She sewed me dresses and swimsuits for performances, which, by the way, they later bought from us because they were incredibly beautiful. And thanks to my mother, that as a child I did not feel a lack of attention and a lack of dad.
website: Your mother is a strong woman. Have you adopted this quality from her?
Y.K.: Yes, of course. I don’t consider myself a weak woman, and sometimes it bothers me. But I am who I am. It is useless to pretend to be weak - sooner or later the truth will be revealed. Therefore, either my man accepts me like this, or I shouldn’t even start a relationship.
website: Are you already thinking about marriage and children? Or are you focused on your career?
Y.K.: I am absolutely calm about the concept of age, and I am not rushing things. I have a friend - my age, and for the last year she has been constantly repeating with horror in her eyes that she is not married, but time is ticking! Because of this, we even began to communicate with her less often, because I do not share this panic. She is obsessed with getting married as soon as possible.
Yours will come to you. My sister met her future husband at the age of 16, and at 18 she was already married. They have been together for many years and are raising children. And someone meets their true love at 40 years old. There's no guessing here. And there is no need.

website: I very often hear this phrase from stars, while many only dream of sitting at home and doing nothing. What do you think is the fundamental difference between you?
Y.K.: I talk a lot about this topic. I think the difference is that I found my thing. I am a happy person because I also get paid for my, without exaggeration, job I love. I have never understood people who, sitting over a glass of wine on Sunday, regretfully note that they have to go to work tomorrow. And the expression “Monday is a hard day” is completely unfamiliar to me. It’s such a joy, such a happiness to run to your favorite job, get up at 5 o’clock in the morning for it, and sometimes stay up all night. That's who I am. And there are people who have never worked a day in their lives and feel very comfortable in the status of a housewife, wife and mother.
This kind of life is not for me. Of course, sometimes you get so tired that you want to throw everything away. But as soon as you exhale, the strength to move forward immediately appears again. Today I know for sure that I will never quit my job.
