Folk ensemble for the holiday. Folklore ensemble

The folklore ensemble of the Moscow Conservatory arose during an expedition to the Ryazan region in 1978. In the spring of 1979, his first public performances took place: in the dormitory of the Moscow Conservatory and in the 9th grade of the first conservatory building.

The core of the ensemble is made up of former and current students of the Moscow Conservatory. Singing in an ensemble for each of them is a way of creative self-realization, an activity “for the soul.” The ensemble's concert programs include folk songs from different regions of Russia, collected during expeditions through the efforts of many generations of conservatory teachers and students.

Each of the former and current members of the ensemble is familiar with expedition work first-hand - after all, it is in traveling “for songs” in the Russian outback that a unique opportunity is provided to learn an authentic singing style from village performers, to adopt it “first-hand.” This is largely why the Folklore Ensemble of the Moscow Conservatory is not an academic group, but the most authentic bearer of the folk song tradition. The ensemble's repertoire is based on materials from those expeditions in which its members themselves visited: these are songs from the Ryazan, Penza, Lipetsk, Kaluga, Volgograd and Bryansk regions of Russia.

The ensemble conducts active concert activities. Over the years, the team held subscription concerts and participated in events at various venues in Moscow: in the F. I. Chaliapin House-Museum, the A. N. Scriabin Museum, in the halls of the Moscow Conservatory, in the Union of Composers of Russia, in the Russian Academy of Music. Gnesins, Central House of Artists, in the Library of Foreign Literature, in schools and colleges, the Choral Academy named after A. V. Sveshnikov, in the Central House of Actors named after A. A. Yablochkina, the State Museum of L. N. Tolstoy, in the House of Culture "Meridian", in Gorky Park, Sokolniki, Kolomenskoye, Neskuchny Garden, etc.

The ensemble has performed in many cities of Russia: in St. Petersburg, Podolsk, Istra, Zvenigorod, Zagorsk, Ryazan, Veliky Ustyug, Vologda, Pushkin Mountains, Kaluga, Bryansk, Yelna, in the Griboedov Khmelita estate, Alekseevskaya village of the Volgograd region, village. This section of the Internet portal of artists Artist.ru “Folklore” presents information from artists and creative groups working in the genre of Russian folklore.

Folklore is folk art, through which one can understand the psychology of the people in the present day. As a rule, works of folklore reflect the most important values of a person and his life: family and work, social duty and love for the homeland. Knowledge of the folklore of a particular country will give an idea of its people and history, as well as culture. By inviting a folklore ensemble to the holiday you are organizing, you will thereby culturally enrich the event.

Folklore ensembles of Moscow

Folklore ensembles in Moscow can perform a wide variety of programs: folklore for children and musical folklore, modern folklore and wedding. Russian folklore will be indispensable when organizing an entertaining show program for foreign tourists. Foreigners will appreciate both ditties, nursery rhymes and dances, as well as lyrical Russian folk songs. Russia, being the largest country in the world, is rich in living Russian folklore. Moscow folklore ensembles not only perform works of Russian folklore, but also incorporate centuries-old traditions of their performance. Just as any traditional Russian feast is not complete without singing songs, so the holiday can be enriched by the performance of a Moscow folk ensemble.

If you represent a Moscow folk ensemble and are looking for work related to participation in festive events and show programs, register on the Internet portal Artist.ru, and your data will be available in the catalog of artists in the “Folklore” section. Visitors to our website will be able to easily contact you to invite you to take part in the festive event.

The wise Plato said that music inspires the whole world, inspires the soul, gives flight to the imagination, gives life and joy to everything that exists.

Good music performed by professional musicians at a holiday is ideal for a wedding, party, corporate event, birthday or other celebration.

Musical groups for the event

Vocalists, instrumental groups, musical ensembles and orchestras will help create a magical atmosphere at the gala evening. Live music or professional soundtrack, one performer or a whole group - the choice is up to the customer. In case of unexpected changes in the scenario, experienced musicians at the event will smooth out the situation by adding a dance block or, conversely, take a break with a neutral sound background.

There are several types of creative teams:

  1. In the original performance, when the Moscow cover group leaves the music, words and manner of performance as close as possible to the original or with minor changes.
  2. Author's arrangement. Creative teams highlight the main theme of the melody, complementing it with their own improvisation and new modification.
  3. Instrumental processing. In this case, the team turns a popular song into an instrumental piece.

In order to emphasize the importance of such celebrations as anniversaries or weddings, Muscovites are increasingly inviting professional cover bands. Performing your favorite hits live allows weddings to stand out from standard DJ orders. For the wedding dance, together with the bride and groom, they will come up with a wonderful composition that will leave pleasant memories for the newlyweds and their guests.

Repertoire for the holiday

All holidays differ from each other in character and theme. Weddings, graduations, corporate parties, anniversaries - the content of the events requires different musical accompaniment. A 70-year-old birthday boy is unlikely to appreciate the modern rhythm of hip-hop, and a young graduate will appreciate a series of soulful works from the Soviet era. Cover band will help the client choose an individual musical accompaniment scenario for the holiday. Performers' repertoire:

  • fun dance disco;
  • energetic rock and roll;
  • calm lounge;
  • romantic blues;
  • relaxed, offbeat reggae;
  • the master of improvisations is jazz;
  • noble chanson and other directions.

ORGANIZATION OF THE WORK OF Amateurs

FOLK COLLECTIVES

for cultural workers

Dyurtyuli, 2015

Folklore(from English folk-lore- “folk wisdom”) – folk art, most often oral. Artistic, collective, creative activity of the people, reflecting their life, views, ideals, principles; created by the people and existing among the masses.

Modern cultural and leisure institutions can work on the use of folklore and other types of traditional folk art in several directions.

1. Cultural and leisure institutions should orient people, especially young people, towards the assimilation of spiritual values contained in folk art, for which it is necessary to use folklore and folk fine and decorative arts as widely as possible in mass artistic work.

2. Cultural and leisure institutions are called upon to facilitate the search, collection, preservation and study of works of traditional folk art, for which it is necessary to organize search and research associations of ethnographers, folk art lovers, folklore lovers, local historians, and history buffs.

3. Workers of cultural and leisure institutions should act as organizers of direct artistic creativity in traditional folklore forms, which is possible within the framework of an amateur artistic group that uses folklore and folk art in their work.

When folklore is used in the work of amateur artistic groups, its development proceeds in the following way:

collecting - creative processing - execution - creation.

As a result of such mastery, there is a comprehensive creative development of participants in amateur groups, an educational impact on spectators and listeners present at concerts, as well as the development of folk art itself.

Contemporary folk group

A modern folklore group is an artistic and creative group whose repertoire is based on works of traditional folklore, received from authentic performers directly or indirectly through technical means. A folklore ensemble represents one or more local (local) singing, choreographic, instrumental folklore traditions (one of them in some cases is basic). Authentic groups are predominantly rural performers of traditional folk music, carriers of the local tradition of folk culture, transmitting and perceiving it orally from generation to generation and formed under the influence of three factors: continuity, variability, and environmental selection.

Performing a folk song on stage is one of the effective ways to promote folk traditions. Transferring musical and song folklore to the stage is always difficult, since the stage version of a folk song is divorced from the original environment of birth and development. When reproducing musical and song folklore, it becomes necessary to take into account the laws that have been developed by other stage genres, in particular dramatic art. The interpretation of traditional rituals and scenes of folk festivals requires a lot of directorial work; they combine all types of folk art: singing, dancing, dramatic action. When working on the stage embodiment of musical and song folklore, the director is faced with both choirmaster tasks and the requirement of knowledge of the laws of theatricalization. These laws dictate

firstly, the formation of an artistic image through the identification of conflict, which is expressed in the relationships of the heroes of the poetic text, in their personal experiences.

Secondly, the organization of stage action through the system of expressive means of theatrical art.

Basic methods of working with folklore groups

In their activities, the leaders of most amateur folklore groups are faced, on the one hand, with problems relating to vocal technique, on the other hand, with folklore problems, such as the development and reconstruction of folklore and ethnographic materials, mastering the sound and dialect features of a particular local tradition, the specifics of implementation elements of folk traditions into modern cultural life, features of displaying folklore samples and ritual fragments on stage, etc.

Differences in folklore traditions of different regions concern not only the repertoire of village singing ensembles, but mainly the features of the poetic dialect (dialect), musical patterns of folklore samples (texture, rhythm, intonation structure, performing techniques), types of choreographic movement, structure of ritual complexes, etc. . That is why at the present stage the closest attention should be directed to identifying the specific patterns of local traditions of one district, village council and even one village.

Depending on the type of institution on the basis of which it is organized, a folklore group can solve a number of the following tasks:

– scientific research: studying the stylistic patterns of local traditions of the area, reconstruction and restoration of forms of musical and song folklore, choreographic and ritual forms of traditional culture (collectives created at research and educational institutions);

– educational and methodological: development of methods for restoring traditional folklore in modern conditions, providing educational and methodological assistance to amateur folklore groups within the framework of seminars, internships, advanced training courses (teams created under the Republican Cultural Center);

– artistic and creative: implementation of restored forms of traditional musical culture in a modern ritual and everyday context and artistic practice (traditional rituals, holidays, festivities, etc., concerts, lectures, educational activities) (all types of folk groups).

The methods of work of a folklore group, whose main task is the reconstruction and restoration of folk song traditions, are formed in the process of in-depth study of the content and formative patterns of folklore phenomena. First of all, in the process of studying song traditions, the members of the group are tasked with the most complete mastering a variety of “languages” traditional music and song culture - verbal, musical, performing, choreographic. When solving this problem, the main principle of work should be constant “contact” with the ethnographic primary source - working with expeditionary records of authentic folklore samples, as well as, if possible, communication with the bearers of the tradition themselves. Mastery of the musical language of a folk song implies knowledge of the most complete body of possible variants (melodic, rhythmic, textured, etc.) of the same song, genre within the local tradition and the ability to use them freely in the process of singing. The study of the choreographic language of the local tradition includes identifying the features and types of choreographic movement (round dances, dances), plasticity, “language” of gestures, etc.

In a folklore ensemble (as in an ethnographic ensemble), the lead singer is not a soloist, he is the “ringleader”, on whom the beginning of the song or even each song stanza depends. At the same time, the rest of the ensemble members are equal “doers” of the song; the quality of performance and its compliance with a particular situation (ritual, festive, etc.), the tone of the collective sound, the emotional state of the entire ensemble, as well as its energy “field” and much more, fully depends on each of them.

One of the difficult problems that most folklore groups face is the display of folklore samples on stage, and even more so the staging of fragments of ritual complexes. The stage embodiment of a folklore phenomenon is always secondary in relation to the natural situation of its existence - ritual or festive. If a collective strives for the authenticity of its performance, for compliance with tradition, then undoubtedly, at least at the initial stage of mastering folklore samples, it should look for the possibility of implementing them in a natural ritual and everyday situation - at a wedding, in rituals of the calendar cycle, in community (village or city) holidays and celebrations, in the sphere of family communication, etc.
