For many years now, the New Year tree at the Pushkin Museum has been one of the most popular and prestigious holidays, which is interesting to people of all ages - both schoolchildren and adults.

New Year's party at the Pushkin Museum. What is this?

The organizers of the Christmas tree begin careful preparations for this event long before the start of the performances, and this makes the program especially coherent and interesting. The New Year holiday is divided into several plot parts.

At the beginning guests are given a tour of the Pushkin estate museum, and a very dynamic thematic quiz is held, from which all guests are completely delighted. Both adults and children enjoy guessing the riddles of Father Frost and the Snow Maiden. During this part, all guests receive a lot of positive emotions and get acquainted with a lot of interesting facts from history, in particular the history of the estate. The quiz ends with the presentation of memorable prizes, which will remind you of a great evening at the Christmas tree in the Pushkin Museum for a very long time.

Second phase dedicated to the New Year's performance. Traditionally, this is a fairy tale story that teaches children kindness and spiritual beauty. The plot of the Christmas tree is not complicated, but it is easy to understand and perceive for both children and adults. And the immersion in the world of a fairy tale is so deep that it is difficult to distinguish what is real and what is fantasy. The New Year's performance at the Pushkin Museum is so fantastically colorful and interesting that time will fly by unnoticed, leaving only delight and grains of goodness that will forever settle in the hearts of the audience.

After watching the fairy tale Various competitions and attractions have been prepared for children and adults, which will be conducted by fairy-tale characters. They will teach ballroom dancing to everyone - etiquette will be explained, dances will be demonstrated, and as a result, an enchantingly beautiful demonstration performance will be held. It was with its amazing ball that the Christmas tree in the Pushkin Museum won the hearts of millions of children and adults who take part in it with great pleasure from year to year.

Adults will also receive personal attention from the hosts of the holiday: they will also be able to take part in ballroom dancing performances, but they will also have the opportunity to take part in card games. Parents will have the opportunity to take part in a small performance that will be held during the celebration. No one will be bored! Everyone who visits the colorful New Year tree in the Pushkin Museum will find an exciting activity to suit their interests. There will be no dissatisfied or “loitering” spectators. The organizers of this New Year's holiday are true masters who, with great love and skill, will create the atmosphere of Pushkin's time: magnificent costumes, expensive decoration of the hall, entertainment and games - all of them came from the era of the greatest poet of the Silver Age and are relevant even after centuries.

new ones first

We decided to go to the New Year's ball at the Pushkin Museum again this year. We've been here 2-3 times before and always liked it. My daughter is 10 years old, we have outgrown this Christmas tree, but my daughter loves fairy tales about heroes, and in general the performances that are staged in this museum. This year the holiday is dedicated to Beauvais the Prince and everything connected with it.

The reviews have already described a lot about how the holiday goes, I’ll repeat it in 2 words.
The event consists of 2 parts. At first, children, together with their parents, walk around the playground stations, where they answer questions, or guess something, learn dances, or undergo some tests. Then the children, without their parents, are taken to the auditorium for the performance (this is the second part).

After the performance, Santa Claus takes all the children to the Christmas tree and the ball itself begins. Children are dancing. Then everyone is taken to the foyer to their parents.

Parents, while the children are at the performance, museum workers or invited artists are occupied by walking through similar sites-stations, only aimed at adults.

This year the children had the following stations: guessing words on the topic What does a hero need, learning a dance for a ball, told a little about Christmas and asked riddles, the 4th station was dedicated to the battles and genealogy of Pushkin.

My parents had: learning a dance, a mini-theater performance, fortune telling, etc. (I didn’t go). Parents can go to the playgrounds at will; no one forces them. There is a TV in the buffet that broadcasts the performance in real time.

All of the above is meant to be ideal.

Having arrived 30 minutes before the start, as recommended in the tickets, you can calmly undress - change clothes, go to the toilet, take pictures in the foyer, where there are many photo zones with tantamaresques, go to the buffet to eat a cake or a piece of cake, there were also sandwiches.

Now how it really was.

The prices at the buffet are off the charts: coffee 350 rubles, a piece of cake 350 rubles.

Having arrived 30 minutes in advance, we had an extra 10-15 minutes of tedious waiting in a crowd of screaming, uncontrollable children.

When we prepared to divide the children and parents into groups, we couldn’t hear what they were saying because of the noise. Everyone tried to come closer and a crowd of people formed.
First, groups of children and parents were formed.

There were about 30 children in the groups, plus the children's parents, in short, a huge crowd of people.

At all playgrounds, children were constantly urged on, not allowed to finish the proposed entertainment, because... Our group, like probably others, was constantly late for something. It's good that we didn't cross paths.
It’s not clear why not provide a little more time for everything, so as not to spoil anyone’s mood and create a conveyor belt.

Some costumed performers on the stages indulged in slight neglect of children. For example, when we were learning a dance and didn’t have time to dance it, the young man leading this lesson said that we didn’t have time to do it because of one boy, specifically pointing to him, who behaved badly and was disturbing everyone.

Or on the playground, where there was a lady in a sundress, talking about Christmas and asking riddles, she also answered some children quite rudely.

And in general, at the sites they asked mainly those who shouted from their seats, and those who diligently raised their hands never got their turn.

Yes, of course, some children are very active and react to everything in their own way (they shout out of place and out of place, interrupt everyone, lie down on the floor and begin to flounder, play around), but since you work with children, you must try to smooth out all the sharp moments. And parents need to do something, and not just stand on the sidelines and watch, so as not to spoil everyone’s festive and wonderful mood.

Our group consisted mainly of children of preschool and primary school age (grades 1-2). My daughter is in 4th grade, she was not interested in being with them. But still, she was able to participate: she asked a funny riddle and named heroes in addition to the famous trinity.

Our group was brought to the performance among the last, but we got seats in the first row. True, the children were packed tightly on the benches; it was a bit cramped for them.

I didn’t go to the entertainment for my parents, I sat in the buffet. There was a whole buffet of people like me, all the seats were occupied.

My daughter didn’t go to the ball around the Christmas tree; we had to have training in an hour, so after the performance she immediately came to me to get dressed.

It's nice that there are gifts for adults. Adults are given a canvas bag and a desk calendar with a house. For children - a lotto board game based on the Pushkin era, May tea in the form of a New Year's ball, an album for creative works, the design of which used materials from the museum's collection, and a book for family reading "Bova-Korolevich and Co", printed specially for this Christmas tree, not for sale.

The child was generally pleased with his visit to this Christmas tree. I would like to add on my own behalf that it was better before.
